RADIOLOGY ROTATION

A quick guide and summary of activities during your SHORT stay in our
department

BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE…

Please assign 1 point person per subgroup for easier communication. You can reach me
through messenger https://www.facebook.com/roleen.maderazo. If I don't respond,
please ask the previous rotator for my number nalang.

DAILY ACTIVITY

REPORTING

1. The topic and the link for the reference book for your reporting will be provided
later on.
2. The content of your report should include the following :
Definition of the disease
Best imaging modality for the disease
Radiologic appearance in all modalities listed in the book
○ I suggest to put the radiologic appearance and the image side by side
○ If the image is cropped/ taken from the reference book, please
include the captions.

Highlight the "most commons"


If there are diseases with similar appearances you can try to put it in a
table and point out how we can differentiate it

COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT

1. At the end of your rotation you are tasked to complete the checklist of
competencies that is given to you at the beginning of the rotation.

This will be submitted to me once you’re done with Radiology rotation.

2. Please take note that a competency may be done on any day not just on your last
day, so please be prepared.

terms how to understand radiologic images and highlights the must-knows:

at your own time. You are not required to watch this. This is just some extra
learning if you feel na kulang yung time niyo with us.

AFTER EVERYTHING…

Even though this is a very short rotation we want you to learn as much as you can. Kaya
please bear with us if jam packed ang activities natin.

This will only serve as a guide for the rotation, meaning, there might be some changes
depending on sa kung gaano ka busy ang department and how long you will be rotating
with us. Pero we will try to follow this guide as much as we can.
