the 1715 I/O for current and future programs. 1715 is a key I/O platform in our product portfolio. We
have prioritized investments in this solution over the past several years resulting in the stable product it
is today and offering our customers an attractive highly available I/O.

1715 is a scalable fault-tolerant I/O. The 1715 solution is a truly distributed, scalable architecture, which
is comprised of I/O modules and, is used with the ControlLogix® series controller. The 1715 control
system allows you to choose the I/O system availability you need, throughout your plant.

Rockwell Automation has a long history of supporting product family sales, in some cases, for more
than 30 years. Similarly, Rockwell Automation has an ongoing investment in the 1715 I/O platform
architecture to help ensure our customer’s investments in the 1715 I/O solution are protected for an
extended time frame.

While we cannot predict or promise a specific 1715 I/O catalog number, our current plan is to provide
support and service solutions of your existing application.
A thorough lifecycle review of existing equipment and spares inventory will help assess modernization
needs and identify the most contemporary Rockwell Automation products. Options available to help
include:

 Installed Base Evaluation™ Service Agreement: Rockwell Automation offers an evaluation of an
installed base with lifecycle analysis.

Rockwell Automation is committed to support your system configuration with 1715 I/O including spare
parts and services, pending commercial provisions. Our goal is to provide technical support and
remanufacturing services for a minimum of 5 years beyond the discontinued date of our serviceable
