B 06/03/12 09:57:04 scsitarg 71178016 SFP Diagnostic condition "Transmit power low alarm" detected
for physical port 3. Replace the SFP or SFP cable assembly.
A 06/03/12 09:58:02 2580 Storage Array Faulted FE SFP faulted on SP port 3 - SP B
A 06/03/12 09:59:32 7434 The Small Form Pluggable (SFP) in port (7) on SP (SP B) is faulted.
Servers may have lost a path to the storage system.

Resolution

The Faulted SFP that needs to be replaced is on storage processor (SP) port 3 - SP B.

Additional Information

The port (7) is the number from the array perspective and the Port (3) is the number from SP perspective .
Receiving a "Diagnostic condition 'Received power low alarm' detected for physical port #" message alone is not cause for replacing
the SFP. Look at other issues such as the host dropping the array connection or issues caused outside of the array, which
might cause this message to be reported.
