RATIONALE FOR CERTIFICATION

In the Textile and Clothing sector, the current conditions of both the internal and external
markets impose the need for adaptation and/or creation of new profiles in the areas of
production, maintenance, repair, and administration. On the other hand, it must Keep in
mind that for many years the national industry was faced with strong external
competition, a factor why several companies offering these services had to close due to
not being able to sustain competitive conditions, thus reducing qualified personnel. Thus,
today there is a combination, on the one hand, of a recognition of the figure by sector

competitive improvement.
That is why, faced with the new local and international conditions of this service, the
need to consider access to professional training for workers is imposed. In this sense, and
within the processes of the occupational role, productive tasks are one of the central
processes in the vast majority of firms in all sectors and therefore one of the priority
professional families when talking about training. initial professional, with the main
objective of training workers capable of carrying out the processes, controlling the
products obtained, taking first-level responsibility for this process, with criteria of
quality, safety and respect for the environment. Likewise, it is a priority for workers to
acquire knowledge linked to the internalization of safety and health standards and the
consolidation of decent working conditions (ILO).

This vocational training certification is part of Level I of Initial Vocational Training, in


accordance with the provisions of Resolution No. 4673/08 of the DGC and E, in its

ACHIEVEMENT EXPECTATIONS

*Recognize clothing fabrics for their correct application, depending on the garment
to be made.
*Make the purchase of materials and supplies with critical knowledge related to the
required quality.
*Make and reform garments such as women's underwear, bedding, etc.
*Put into practice the safety regulations regarding the machines and tools used in
the work.
*Use appropriate and proper sewing operational techniques.
*Maintain the optimal operating condition of the tools used in the production
process.
*Know the labor regulations and for the situation of self-employment and/or in a
dependency relationship
*Perform with skills the techniques and knowledge of basic molds for the Industry.

*Develop the ability to interpret models with different complexity to make the final
molding, understanding and relating the manufacturing process.

*Perform progressions of different typologies characteristic of the lingerie industry.

*Materialize samples of the learned models.

*Interpret and collaborate in the assembly of Product Sheets.

*Perform cost calculations and management concepts in a factory, workshop,


production unit or own venture.

Teaching objectives

*Organize the workspace to start the manufacturing process according to production


standards and requirements, preserving safety and occupational hygiene, both for oneself
and for third parties.
* Select and choose the materials and accessories that should be used to make the
garment.

*Analyze and decide the endings that the models should have.

*Make the patterns of the models to be made.

*Develop activities specific to the trade: unraveling, cutting, basting, sewing, ironing.

*Order production taking into account the work sequence.

UNIT 1 MATERIALS FOR LINGERIE and CORSERY

 Lingerie and corsetry concept


 Knitted fabric: Basic ligaments, tubular fabrics, open fabrics.
Applications
 Concept of selvage, bias, thread.
 Fabric shrinkage and break test.
 Accessories, types, and applications in knitted garments.

UNIT 2 TECHNICAL DRAWING TECHNIQUES AND ABOUT THE


FIGURINE

 Human figure. Proportions, stylization, poses.


 Geometric: value of the line, idea of construction of

 Interpretation of the outer and inner garment.
 Representation of garments at different moments of
learning.
 Basic construction of technical sheet. Data to include.

UNIT 3 SEWING AND SEWING MACHINES

 Types of seams and the relationship with seam allowances.
 Identification and management of work tools.
 Machine threading. (Straight, overlock, collar and zig-zag)

UNIT 5 BODY TYPE WITHOUT ARCH

EVALUATION CRITERIA

Students will be evaluated using the “evaluation sheet” for each work they complete.
At the end of the course-journey, a final theoretical evaluation will be carried out that
accredits the knowledge acquired; The students will be evaluated by a commission
made up of a president and two members.

EVALUATION FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE JOURNEY

At the end of the journey, a written evaluation will be carried out that certifies the contents
acquired; must obtain a minimum of 70% out of 100%.

ADAPTIONS

In the context of a pandemic, planning can be made more flexible without ignoring the
proposed objectives and expectations of achievements, after carrying out a group
