Acrolloy 5
Acrolloy 5
INTRODUCTION
STEER'S Acrolloy 5 is a Micro alloyed, spin cast & forged vanadium rich iron based tool steel.
Acrolloy 5 alloying composition results in carbides rich metallurgy which exhibits a superior
performance in an environment of either two body abrasion or three body abrasion.
Forging results in uniform distribution of carbides throughout the tempered Martensite matrix
and makes it fine grain structure which leads to enhance the mechanical properties of Acrolloy
5 like toughness, bending strength etc.,
