POWER AND DUTIES OF THE PUNONG BARANGAY
- chief executive of the barangay government -organize and lead emergency group
-Prepare annual executive and supplemental budgets
- enforce laws and ordinances within his jurisdiction
-Approve disbursement of funds
- negotiate and enter contracts
-Enforce laws relating to protection of the
- maintain public order in the barangay

- initiate and maximize the generation of resources and revenues
- Ensure the delivery of basic services and the provision of adequate facilities
- Exercise and perform other duties and functions prescribed by the law or ordinance
POWER AND DUTIES OF MUNICIPAL AND CITY OFFICIALS
PROVINCIAL GOVERNOR
- Exercise general supervision and control over all programs, projects,
services and activities of the provincial government
- enforce laws and ordinances relative to the governance of the province
- initiate and maximize the generation of resources and revenues
- Ensure the delivery of basic services and the provision of adequate
facilities
- Exercise and perform other duties and functions prescribed by the law
or ordinance
POWER AND DUTIES OF PROVINCIAL OFFICIALS
VICE GOVERNOR
- Be the presiding officer of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan
- sign all warrants drawn on the provincial treasury
- appoint all officials and employees of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan
- assume the office of the governor for the unexpired term of the latter in the event it is
vacated permanently
- exercise the powers and perform the duties and functions of the governor in case of
temporary vacancy
- Exercise and perform other duties and functions prescribed by the law or ordinance
POWER AND DUTIES OF MUNICIPAL AND CITY OFFICIALS
SANGGUNIANG PANLALAWIGAN
- Approve and pass resolutions for efficient and effective operations
- generate resources and maximize use of these resources and revenues
- adopt measures to enhance the full implementation of the national agrarian reform
program
- enact ordinances granting franchise or special privileges for the operation of public
utilities
- Exercise and perform other duties and functions prescribed by the law or ordinance
