Homework: Writing task 1

The table compares the number of UK’s citizes who visited five nations from 2004
to 2008.
In general, while the figure for residents coming to Egypt, India, Poland rose
significantly, the number of UK residents to Spain and USA decreased slightly.
In the table, the biggest increase in UK residents visited to Poland and numbers
went up dramatically by 1,274,000 to reach 1,578,000 in 2008.
Meanwhile, The number of UK residents coming to Egypt and India followed
similar upward trend. To specify, the figure for UK’s citizes visitting Egypt increased
near double and India rose near half times over the period.
Strikingly, althought the number of UK residents to Spain and USA followed slight
downward fluctuation, but this two contries had the most visitors to UK with 13,819,00
and 4,003,00 sequentially.
In brief, The number of UK’s citizes coming to Egypt, India, Poland went up in four
years period from 2004 to 2008, except for Spain and USA.
