Statement of the Problem

Generally, this study aims to explore the Economic Coping Mechanism Drivers
on the Oil Price Hikes in General Santos City.

1. What are the lived experiences of tricycle driver on their economics coping
mechanism as a result to the gas price hikes?
2. What are the perceptions of tricycle driver-respondents in the oil price hikes?
3. How do they handle the difficulties they had with gas inflation?
4. What are the impacts of oil price hikes on the livelihoods and economic well-being of
tricycle drivers in General Santos City?

2.1 What is your initial reaction upon hearing about the gas price hike? Why?

2.2 Do you think oil price hike could help your society cope with the advancements
happening in our community or it will only make the lives of the people more intimate?

you have employed?
