Completed Pre-clerkship courses successfully
Course DESCRIPTION:
Radiology attachment during Clerkship is intended to build upon the student’s knowledge, skill
and attitude required in the diagnostic radiology including assisting in radiological procedures.
To enhance skill development, this attachment is delivered integrated Professional competency
development (PCD)
COURSE DESIGN:
This will be delivered in Clerkship I:
The teaching will focus on consolidating the teachings across the different clerkship attachment
building the ability of the student in interpretation of diagnostic radiological technique. This will
prepare students to have the experience in using Radiology and Imaging investigations for
patient care.

•Formative assessment
 This will not contribute to the total grade of the student but provides continuous feed
back to the student and it can be applied in the form of providing feed backs on
assignments completed, students’ professional behavior and etc.
Methods of assessment
1. Progressive -10%
2. Oral exam (Viva)- 30%
3. Written exam (MCQ, Short Essay, Matching, True- False with reasoning )-40%
4. Log books and portfolios-10%
5. Global rating 360⁰ Assessment (Self, Peer, faculty, health facility staff and
community member-10%
