MICHAEL JACKSON'S BIOGRAPHY

EARLY YEARS OF AGE:


Michael Joseph Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana, on August 29, 1958, the eighth of ten children.
Her mother, Katherine Esther Scruse, was a devout Jehovah's Witness, and her father, Joseph
Walter "Joe" Jackson worked in a factory and sang in a musical group called The Falcons.

BEGINNINGS IN MUSIC:
From an early age Michael showed interest in music. In 1964, he and his brother Marlon joined the
musical band "Jackson Brothers", formed by his older brothers - Jackie, Tito, and Jermaine - where
they played small bongos and tambourines. Michael stood out from the rest of his brothers for his
ability to sing and dance, and became, along with his brother Jermaine, the vocalist of the group,
which they later called "The Jackson Five."

SOLO CAREER:
In 1972, at the age of fourteen, he began his solo career with the albums Got to Be There and Ben,
while combining his work as vocalist of the group he formed with his brothers. The songs "Got to
Be There" (fourth place), "Ben" (first place), the central theme of the film of the same name, and
"Rockin' Robin" (second place) reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 list. ).

ARRIVAL TO THE TOP:


In 1982, the singer released his second album, “Thriller,” which became the best-selling album of
all time. The album spent eighty consecutive weeks in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart.
Its success was largely due to the video clip for the single that gives the album its title, a short film
lasting more than 13 minutes.

PERSONAL LIFE:
Michael Jackson married Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Presley, and the second time with
Deborah Rowe, mother of two of his children, Prince Michael and Paris.
The singer has a third son, Prince Michael II, who was, in his own words, fathered from his sperm
by a surrogate mother.

DEATH:
On the morning of June 25, 2009, service members called 911 to request help. Upon arrival, the
paramedics found him without a pulse or breathing, so they performed cardiopulmonary
resuscitation and transferred him to the "Ronald Reagan Medical Center", located in Los Angeles
at 1:14 pm. But despite the efforts of doctors he was pronounced dead at 2:26 pm.
