The tVleghaiaya Rowing and'vVatersports Associatron (MRWA) is activeiy carrying out the
rowing awareness campaign in the state. The endear:our of IVRWA is to select a core group of
JOINTSECRETARY young rowers who will be train under our affiliated unit - the Assam Rifles Rowing Node at
J.3. Lamare Umiam . The rest of the rowers who are unabie to rnake it as a sportperson wiil be given iife
skills to pursue sports tourism through rowing for a sustainable livelihood.
