billion in registered capital in 2020, ranking
eighth and accounting for 4.8 per cent of the

Following the EVFTA, the EU’s FDI into Việt Nam was
up 2.2 per cent in 2021, bringing the union to the
fifth rank and 4.5 per cent of all FDI investment
in Việt Nam

Seafood exporters are currently selling their


goods under FOB, where the buyers will pay for

The implementation of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement plays a key role in bringing
Vietnamese agro-fishery products into the European market

-Rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and oceanacidification pose threats to aquaculture
operations, affecting water quality and thehealth of farmed species.
-Aquaculture products may experience price fluctuations due tomarket demand, currency exchange
rates, and geopolitical factors, impacting theprofitability of aquaculture businesses.
