APC Marketing Manager

Status: Full-Time, Remote


Reports to Communications Director

Role
APC’s implementer of association marketing, in collaboration with Communications
Director and fellow staff. Responsible for assisting in development and administration of
APC messaging and marketing, focusing on social media, graphic design, and website
management.

Duties
• Assist in administering communication and marketing to members, including but not
limited to print and online communications vehicles, social media, research (surveys,
focus groups, etc), member response and fulfillment, marketing/communications
initiatives, website, and other activities.
• Assist with production and distribution of member communications and resource
materials, including but not limited to association publications, social media, website,
marketing pieces, and advocacy campaign collateral.
• Design house ads and related collateral for education courses, conferences, webinars,
etc.
• Implement social media strategy, enunciating a distinctive APC “voice” and ensuring a
robust platform of vehicles and tools for engaging and connecting members.
• Assist in maintaining the APC website(s) on a regular basis, ensuring that information
remains current and useful.
• Serve as association reporter as needed.
• Make recommendations for ways to improve the effectiveness of APC’s marketing both
in terms of audience appeal and efficiencies of internal processes.
• Work directly with staff in all departments in the ongoing management of website
content, navigation, customer queries, file structures, design, graphics, and branding.

Characteristics
Easy-going but efficient way with people, critical thinker, effective communicator (written
and in-person), team player, proactive, able to work independently, detail oriented,
reliable, trustworthy, willing to learn new things, dedicated to the betterment of
compounding and the association, knowledgeable about the industry (or willing to learn),
creative, self-motivated, and professional. Proficiency in social media applications,
Microsoft Office, and Adobe Pro required.
