PUBLICATION OF RESULTS

The final result of the admission exam will be published by the admission commission taking into
account the order of merit obtained by the applicant within 24 hours after completing the exam.
The decisions of this commission are final.

Access to the study programs offered by the “VILCANOTA” Public Technological Higher
Education Institute will be granted only to applicants who have obtained admission status, in
strict order of merit, taking into account the options marked in the application list during the
admission exam.

TUITION
The applicants who occupied the first 40 places, in the results of the admission exam of the
Institute of Higher Technological Education “VILCANOTA”, will be able to enroll upon
presentation of the required documentation.

REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS

regularize in physical form to the Academic Secretariat office of the Public Technological Higher

REGULATIONS OF THE ADMISSION PROCESS 2020

" CHAPTER I dr
GENERAL DISPOSITION
Art. 1.- The admission process is in charge of the Institutional Commission and the Sub-
commissions, according to section 5.2 of RM 1 No. 0025-2010- ED.
Art. 2.- The Institutional Commission is responsible for planning, organization, execution,
evaluation, publication and submitting the respective report to the immediate higher body.
Art. 3.- Access to the Study Programs of Civil Construction, Accounting, Computing and
Informatics, Technical Nursing, Agricultural Mechanics and Agricultural Production of the
Vilcanota Public Technological Higher Education Institute of Sicuani, is done through the
Admission Exam.
CHAPTER II
ADMISSION PROCESS
Art. 4.- The admission process is carried out by ordinary exam or exemption, according to the
goals of care.
Art. 5.- Of the responsibilities of the IEST Vilcanota Public:

✓ Prepare the Admission Exam, according to the established guidelines.
✓ Issue exoneration resolutions for applicants who prove one of the conditions indicated
in Article 23.
✓ Publish the relationship of the applicants with the results obtained.
✓ Send to the Regional Directorate of Education Cusco, the final report on the execution
of the Admission Process.

Art. 9.- The minimum passing grade to reach a vacancy is 13 (thirteen), it will be awarded in
strict order of merit, until the authorized goal is covered.
Art. 11.- In the event of a tie, the results obtained will be taken into account in the following
order:
• Mathematical logical reasoning.
• Reading comprehension.
• Knowledge.
• General culture.
Art. 10.- The income obtained from the admission process will be distributed according to the
RM 025 – 2010- ED:
• 50% to cover operating expenses of organization, preparation and printing of material,
payment to the exam preparation teams, supervision of applicants on the day of the
exam and other expenses generated by the process.
• 50% for the improvement of infrastructure, equipment and furniture of the institution.
Art. 11.- The economic report of the admission process will be sent to the Cusco Regional
Directorate of Education with a favorable opinion from the Advisory Council.
Art. 12.- The number of vacancies per Study Program is 40, approved by Revalidation
Resolution No. 163-2005-ED and endorsed by Resolution of the Cusco Regional Directorate
of Education (DRE-C).

CHAPTER III
OF VIRTUAL REGISTRATION
Art. 16.- Registration is carried out according to the schedule established by the 2020
Institutional Admission Commission of the IESTP “Vilcanota.”
Art. 17.- Registration implies the commitment to accept the provisions of these regulations. In
the case of the applicant with a disability, he or she may be assisted by an authorized person, as
required.
Art. 18.- The adulteration of any document will determine the nullity of the applicant's
registration, without the right to any claim.
Art. 19.- Registrations will not be accepted without proof of payment (Voucher).
Art. 20.- Once the applicant has registered, a refund of payment for the registration fee will not
be accepted for any reason.
Art. 21.- Applicants who achieve admission must regularize the required documents within a
peremptory period.
Art. 22.- The files of applicants who do not have a vacancy will be returned from the third day
after the admission exam, with a validity of 30 days, after this period has expired.

CHAPTER IV
OF THE EXONERATION
Art. 23.- Applicants who are in the following cases are exempt from taking the ordinary
admission exam test:
• The first and second place in regular basic education in any of its modalities, graduated in
2019.
• Qualified athletes, accredited by the Regional Sports Council.
• The first five places in the Basic Technological Cycle 2019-II and 2020 I, as appropriate
and according to the vacancy table.
• Students who are included in Law No. 27050, General Law of Persons with Disabilities.

• Students who are included in Law No. 28592, which creates the Comprehensive
Reparations Plan – PIR

2nd hour
Art. 24.- If the admission process (registration stage) via exemption, the vacancies are not
covered, they will increase the number of vacancies for the ordinary exam.

Art. 25.- The Admission exam will be held on Monday, May 11, 2020 according to schedule.

Art. 26.- From the Admission test:

Art. 27.- The Admission exam test considers the following aspects:
• Reading comprehension.

• Mathematical Logical Reasoning.

Art. 28.- The admission exam will consist of a multiple selection test, with a total of 40 items
(questions), being unique for all applicants, with a duration of one hour and 30 minutes.
Art. 29.- The purpose of the test is to evaluate the aptitude and academic preparation of the
applicant according to the regular basic education study plan.
The subcommittee for preparing the test is in charge of selecting the aspects), after drawing lots
for the teachers who will prepare the items, according to the evaluation matrix and the thematic
content, the presentation of the question booklet.
Art. 30.- Any omission in the regulations will be resolved by the institutional admission
commission in accordance with the institutional regulations.
