EPISTEMOLOGY AND PEDAGOGY

First, in their collage they tried to focus on three fundamental aspects of education, which would
be scientific knowledge, pedagogy and epistemology.

What is epistemology? , epistemology is a branch of philosophy that does not have a specific
concept. It can be an analysis, an inquiry, a reflection, a way of thinking, there is no clear concept
because it is a young discipline. What does epistemology study? It is like a regulator, because
science does not have the absolute truth but rather explains or gives the most accurate theory
possible to reality but not the true one.

Scientific knowledge , its hypothesis, its theory, its methodology, its paradigm and its model that it
has followed, also checks its veracity, objectivity, and its reality

Pedagogy is a science that is responsible for studying the teaching methods that are applied in
education at all stages, especially in children so that they can choose the correct path in the
future.

Pedagogy previously meant the education of children. But currently it has been mistakenly said
that a pedagogue is one who educates children, but it can be taken as a science of education, of
educating people, of teaching them.

“In addition to teaching, teach to doubt what you are teaching” the teacher must have the ability
to make the student doubt what he is teaching so that the student is encouraged to investigate
more and be curious.

Epistemology and pedagogy is an investigation of social education and physical education. Physical
education is based more on the development of the body and doing different sports. Social
education is related to physical education, which tries to explain that every child has to relate to
people (be sociable) to have good development.

Michel Foucault, this author is characterized by eliminating all knowledge of metaphysics.

Metaphysics was knowledge of physics, but these were not scientific knowledge,
metaphysics believes in difficult things such as normal phenomena.
EPISTEMOLOGY AND

PEDAGOGY

What is epistemology? It is a branch of philosophy that studies knowledge.

Philosophy studies the processes of change that occur in the human mind where it explains how
human thinking changed.

Pedagogy is a branch that is responsible for studying methodologies for teaching students.
Pedagogy before was simply that the teacher was the transmitter of knowledge and the student
could not give his point of knowledge. Pedagogy is more communal because knowledge is shared.

Empirical theories .- that learns through observation.

Philosophical theory - studies the mental processes of the human being.

Axiological theory - studies the environment of the subject, making the difference between good
and bad.

General theories .- in which knowledge is acquired.

The education

We want to seek a multicultural and productive education, which is based on many methodologies
to make the classes more didactic and not simply concentrate in the classrooms, sitting in their
seats, that is very exhausting for the students, that is why their learning is quite slow and does not
quickly grasp what the teacher is teaching him.
