Dear Open Work Partnership,I am very


excited to come across the position of part
time, work from home Mortgage
Administrator.Although I am located in the
North East I am willing and able to make the
necessary arrangements to attend the
necessary office training you require to bring
me up to speed with your processes.A little
bit about me. I have successfully run a
Mortgage Brokerage for 10 years with my
partner and so I am quite knowledge to all
things relevant to Residential Mortgages
and Protection Products. My role as a
partner concentrated mainly around the
administration and compliance side of
things.My personal circumstances conspired
and I found myself in the States for a few
years. The reason of my move was not work
related but nevertheless I took advantage of
the situation and expanded my financial
knowledge and experience by working for a
major Banking Group.On my return back to
the UK I landed right at the start of the
Pandemic restrictions. Having always been
involved with property ( from tenant, to
owner. to landlord, to developer, to broker) I
decided to brush up my knowledge and

professional qualifications. It was during the
pandemic early years that I (along with
thousands of other Londoners) decided to
move out of the city and relocated to the
North East of the UK. I was fortunate to
secure employment with a very forward
thinking company with a unique operating
model enabling them to acquire, regenerate
and manage a diverse representation of
family homes in the UK.I enjoyed my work
immensely however in the process my
allocated area had significantly increased to
double its size. My daily commute started
running in the hundreds of miles at the same
time as the petrol prices had doubled at the
pumps. Regrettably my employer's
mileage allowance was falling short and had
no alternative but to seek home base
employment.Property, mortgages and
finance has always been my passion.
However, a clause in my employer's
contract prevented me to return to the
industry for a minimum of 6 months. Joining
BUPA as a remote customer service advisor
seemed the most appropriate step in my
personal involvement into protection needs
in this case Private Health insurance!I
successfully completed my 6 week training
with BUPA. I continued my on the job
learning achieving all targets with the same
passion and customer service dedication.
Consequently, my application to join the
Cardiac Department, was successful.Then
right after Christmas I fell very ill and was
not able to return to work. I was
subsequently diagnosed with Long Covid.
My medical practitioner suggested
alternative work tasks on a number of
occasions. However, due the nature of my
role, my employer was not able to
accommodate me. And so I left the
company.Having finally recovered I am
looking to return to a mortgage
administrative role, ideally on a part time
basis, work from home arrangement. I am
currently completing my CeMap Certifcation
( Module 2 completed while writing this) as
proof of my knowledge and commitment to
my profession.Due to my background and
knowledge I believer that I can complete the
required training faster therefore
contributing to your company a lot sooner
than perhaps planned for.I hope this further
explains my position and that you consider
