ANALYSIS OF AN INSTRUCTIONAL TEXT
TEXT 1. RECIPE:
“ HAWAIIAN COFFEE MEDALLIONS”
FOR FOUR PERSONS
Ingredients
4 boneless breasts
8 slices of ham
4 pineapple slices
1 glass of pineapple juice
1/4 cup of strong coffee
1 small big-headed onion, cut into pieces
Pepper, thyme, oregano, salt. Hemp.
Preparation
● Season the boneless breasts with thyme, pepper,
oregano and salt.
● On each breast place two slices of ham and a slice
of pineapple cut into strips. Close, tie and cook for 15
minutes in the pineapple juice with the coffee, salt
and big onion, turning them once.
● Take out the breasts, untie them and cut them into
slices. And finally, strain the cooking juices, thicken
them a little and serve the sauce over the breasts.
