MOKTE ULELAE

SUMMARY
Mokte Ulelaens, or simply Mokte, are considered the
more common, rough-neck descendants of the
Ulelaen bloodline. This perception has created
animosity between the Mokte and their brethren, the
Adagian Ulelae. This perception is personified in one
of the simplest ways – the Adagian Ulelae have
smooth, oval heads while the Mokte have textured
ones with details like spikes and very small horns on
the sides of and towards the back of their skulls.
Otherwise, they both share similar traits, including
smooth skin over the rest of their bodies that comes
in a variety of colors and has a slight shimmer.

The Mokte look at this bias a little differently – they

are the doers and the Adagian are the dreamers.
They generally mock the Adagian for their inability to
achieve anything themselves, climbing on the
shoulders of others or relying on connections to
achieve anything. So, while the Adagian are
pretentious, the Mokte are as well in their own way.

The Mokte habitat has historically been in valleys,

canyons, and caverns. They have lived across many
planets in these rocky environments, regardless of
temperature, so areas with that kind of terrain
generally have a higher concentration of Mokte.
They are generally uncomfortable in overly humid
environments.

Mokte society overall varies drastically from place to

place, so it is ill-advised to make assumptions about
the structure of their communities before seeing
them for yourself.

The Mokte are vegetarians and get ill if they

accidentally ingest meat.

age of 20 and generally lives into the middle of
their second century.

Size: Medium sized creature.

Common and Ktelaen.

Darkvision: You have superior vision in dark and

dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60
feet of you as if it were bright light, and in
darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern
color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Celestial Resistance: You have resistance to

necrotic damage and radiant damage.

Lucky: When you roll a 1 on a d20 attack roll,

ability check, or saving throw, you can reroll the
die and must use the new roll.

Brave: You have advantage on saving throws

against being frightened.

Abiogenetic origins: Your bones are made of

graphene, so they’re unusually light and flexible.
You are able to exercise unbelievably precise
control over your body. You get a +1 bonus to
your dexterity modifier for every 3 points added
to your strength modifier. You are also inherently
able to use Feather Fall without expending a spell
slot. This is a genetic feature and cannot be added
artificially.

Mokte Resilience: You have advantage on saving

throws against poison, and you have resistance
against poison damage.

Forged from Adversity: You and your

community have historically had a rougher start
in the world. But from that adversity comes an
inner power that cannot be rivaled by those who escaped hardship. As a result, you can manifest a minor wonder
within 30ft.

• Your voice booms up to three times as loud as normal for 1 minute.

• You cause flames to flicker, brighten, dim, or change color for 1 minute.
• You cause harmless tremors in the ground or air for 1 minute.
• You create an instantaneous sound that originates from a point of your choice within range, such as a
rumble of thunder or ominous whispers.
• You instantaneously cause an unlocked door or window to fly open or slam shut.
• You alter the appearance of your eyes for 1 minute.

If you activate this cantrip multiple times, you can have up to three of its 1-minute effects active at a time, and you
can dismiss such an effect as an action.

LEVELED EFFECTS
Necrotic Shroud: At 5th level, your intimidating persona manifests into something more tangible. When triggered,
your eyes briefly become pools of darkness and the air arounds you seems to compress and darken. Creatures other
than your allies within 10 feet of you that can see you must succeed on a Charisma saving throw (DC 8 + your
proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or become frightened of you until the end of your next turn. Until the
transformation ends, once on each of your turns, you can deal extra necrotic damage to one target when you deal
damage to it with an attack. Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. The extra
damage equals your proficiency bonus. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
