Design: The model of the table must be made, it can be done with computer
programs or by hand and with this define the measurements of the table and the
molds to proceed with its production.
Selection: Enter as raw material the wood that must be selected according to the
type of wood, thickness, size, color and texture depending on the type of table to
be made.
Cutting: once the wood has been selected with the design that was previously
made, the cuts of the pieces that will make up the wood must be made on cutting
saws, ripping saws, band saws or radial saws.
Planing: After the wood is cut crosswise, the edges and surface of the boards are
planed to the required dimension. This process also eliminates apparent defects in
the boards. The tools used in the wood planing process are single surface planes
and double surface planes.
Assembly: In this process, nails and special glue are used to join the pieces
according to the provided design, where in each joint the straightness of the joints
must always be measured. For this process, different machines are used, such as
drilling machines, among others. that interfere with the joining of the pieces.
Polishing: In order to remove different marks due to assembly, the different parts
of the table are sanded using power sanders. Perfect sanding not only shows the
grain of the wood, but is also useful for obtaining a quality paint job.
Finishing: Finishing is a highly developed technique that is applied to table
surfaces to protect and preserve them, in addition to giving them beauty and
ornamental effects. The equipment and materials for finishing the chairs can be
turpentine, alcohol, lacquer, solvents, sandpaper, paints, enamels, etc.
Drying: When finishing the polished and finished assembly, the tables must be
allowed to dry to have the finished product ready for distribution in the market.
Packaging: The finished tables are packaged and packed in cardboard and plastic
for their respective distribution to the market.
