• The iPhone 4 was an upcoming device with an elegant design and innovative features, the

most important of which was the high-resolution retina screen, as well as its stainless steel

frame.Here lies the problem, as the problem was primarily focused on the design of the

device’s antenna system. Unlike previous devices, the air system was mainly placed inside

them, but the iPhone 4 was characterized by a unique design with an antenna integrated into

the stainless steel strip that surrounds the device. This was part of the structural integrity of

the device.This design made the antenna system external and was intended to strengthen the

the device, where the antenna system is located, this may cause interference with the antenna

and thus interruption of calls, a severe weakness in the network, as well as slowdown of data.

• There is no doubt that an incident like this is a major threat to the reputation and transparency

of a large, prestigious and special company like Apple.

• Therefore, I will present some solutions that I see from my personal perspective that the

company should take.

• First, the user must identify the problem and tell him that he is holding the phone
in the wrong way.

• Secondly, provide a short-term solution to users, such as a protective case to

cover the antenna system, thus reducing the size of the problem.

• Third, issuing updates that include modifications to the device’s design and the
number of bars displayed on the iPhone’s signal strength.

• Fourth and finally, the devices must be reviewed internally and work on modified
antenna designs, which have a more insulating gap for the antenna.
