Mónica: Hello guys, I’m frustrated because I didn’t pass an exam and it was important to get
one more degree.To continue your career line is very difficult and I know it is not enough
when you finish studying at university. Tell me, What ambitions do you hope to achieve in
your own life?
Jean: I think I want to graduate as an engineer as soon as possible and after that I would
like to move from Peru and work in renewable energy in Germany or the United Kingdom.
What about you, Yeni?
Yeni: I agree with you. I am a Lawyer. When I finished my career, I wanted to start a master
degree in Democracy and Good Government in Salamanca University, or Human Rights in
University of Valencia, that’s why I applied for a scholarship, however I didn’t get selected.
My ambition is to be the winner of a scholarship to study for one of those master degrees.
Mónica: In my case, I’m a teacher and I have to continue with this career line, currently I’m
licensed. That is an achievement that I could get through time and effort, but I’d like to be
named in an entity public. However, this grade is not enough, because there is competition
in order to be named so I need to study more and get a degree like a master. How about
you? What achievements are you proud of?
Jean: I think they have very good ambitions, in my case I think one of the achievements is
having entered the National University of San Marcos, also I had one of the best grades in
my career.
Yeni: For me, the achievements that make me proud are my law degree, having published a
book and having built my department. I hope to achieve the goals I set for myself in 2024.
Jean: Oh, you published a book that's very interesting, congratulations, well I have to leave,
see you another day.
Mónica: Yes, to publish a book it takes time and much effort. Congratulations, well I have to
go too,because I have English class.
