TINKERBELL AND THE FAIRY SECRET

The fairy land is full of activity, the craft fairies are busy
making snowflake baskets for the winter fairies. A fleet of
snow owls soon arrive for the baskets, bringing with them a
final errand for Fairy Mary ( Jane Horrocks ). Tinker Bell (
Mae Whitman ) watches as the birds head towards the
Winter Woods with wonder and curiosity.
Later that day, Tinker Bell volunteers to help Fawn ( Angela
Bartys ) take the animals to the Winter Woods so they can
hibernate, Fawn warns Tinker Bell that they only take the
animals to the border of the forests, and that they are
prohibited from entering the Winter Woods. While Fawn is
distracted by a sleeping groundhog, Tinker Bell hops across
the border into the Winter Woods. Tink gazes in awe at the
beautiful winter landscape, enchanted by the delicate
snowflakes falling around her, and the strange glow
emerging from her wings. The moment ends when Fawn
drags Tinker Bell back to the Autumn Woods. Touching
Tink's wings, Fawn becomes frightened when she realizes
that they are practically frozen and rushes to take her to the
Fairy Hospital. A healing fairy ( Jodi Benson ) examines
Tink's wings and warms them until they are room
temperature. Tink is still curious about the lights and colors
that her wings had in the Winter Woods, the Healing Fairy
tells her that maybe it was just the light reflecting off the
snow. When leaving the hospital, Tink tells her friends that
it was something magical but none of them believe her and
they even believe that she went crazy.
Tink flies to the Library, where she finds a small wing-
shaped book, but unfortunately, the page she needs is full
of holes because a book-eater (a fat and very gluttonous
worm) ate it. A fairy ( Thomas Lennon ) tells Tink that the
author of the book could help her but he lives in the Winter
Woods. After preparing to enter the Winter Woods, Tink
sneaks into the craftsmen's workshop and hides in one of
the snowflake baskets, and flies straight towards the Winter
Woods. Suddenly the owl drops the basket and Tink crashes
into the snow. Realizing that her book was lost in the
disastrous landing, she tries to look for it before another
fairy finds it. However, Lord Milori ( Timothy Dalton ), the
Lord of Winter, finds it and gives it to Sled ( Matt Lanter )
instructing him to return it to its rightful owner, the
Bookkeeper. Tinker Bell follows Sled to the Winter Hall,
where while hiding she meets the Bookkeeper, Dewey ( Jeff
Bennett ). At that moment another fairy enters saying that
her wings were glowing with strange colors. Simultaneously,
Tinker Bell's wings begin to glow as well. A force propels her
toward the winter fairy, named Periwinkle ( Lucy Hale ). The
girls ask Dewey to explain what's going on with his wings.
He leads Tink and Periwinkle to a giant snowflake, where
the wings begin to glow again and the entire Hall is filled
with images of a baby's first laugh, which splits into two:
one goes to the Dust Tree and another to the Winter
Woods; Tink and Periwinkle realize that they are actually
twin sisters.
Suddenly, Lord Milori arrives worried about the book he had
found, alerting Dewey that he has to send any warm fairies
he sees back to the Autumn Woods. Dewey tells the girls
that Tink can stay for a while before she has to return
home. The two go to Periwinkle's house, where she shows
Tink the different things she collects. He then takes her to
the Frozen Woods, to introduce her to his friends Gliss (
Gray DeLisle ) and Spike ( Debby Ryan ). They continue to
spend time together all day; That night at Periwinkle's
house, Tinker Bell creates a campfire to stay warm, and
realizes that if she can be warm in the Winter Woods, then
she can create cold in her home. Suddenly, the ice begins to
weaken due to the fire and they both fall into the void. After
being rescued by Dewey, he tells them that Tinker Bell must
return home and they cannot see each other again since it
is very dangerous for both of them. At the border Tink
begins to fake cry to distract Dewey and when he walks
away, she whispers to Periwinkle that they should meet
again at the border tomorrow since she has a plan to take
her to the warm woods. When Tinker Bell gets home, she
asks her friends Clank ( Jeff Bennett ) and Bobble ( Rob
Paulsen ) for help. While they are working, Tink's friends
arrive and listen to the story of Tinker Bell and her twin
sister, becoming completely excited by the fact of meeting
her.
The next day, Tinker Bell arrives at the border with Bobble
and Clank, bringing a snow machine with them; which
allows Periwinkle to be cold enough on the warm side of
Pixie Hollow. There she meets Tinker Bell's friends, Fawn,
Iridessa ( Raven-Symoné ), Rosetta ( Megan Hilty ),
Silvermist ( Lucy Liu ), and Vidia ( Pamela Adlon ) and
continues her journey through the warm side of Pixie
Hollow, to that Tink notices that Periwinkle's wings are
shriveling. The snow machine was running out of ice, and
there isn't enough snow to keep Peri cold, so Tink and
Periwinkle head back to the border. Lord Milori appears and
tells Periwinkle how to repair his wings. Queen Clarion (
Anjelica Huston ) also arrives and explains to the girls that
they cannot see each other again. As the girls go on
opposite paths, Lord Milori throws the snow machine into
the river current causing a blizzard on the warm side.
Later that day, Queen Clarion tries to make Tinker Bell
understand why the rule of not crossing the border is so
important, also Lord Milori tries to do the same with
Periwinkle. They tell them the story of two fairies who were
completely in love, but belonged to very different worlds,
which is the story about them. One of the fairies crossed
the border and broke her wing; a wound that has no cure.
Just as Queen Clarion finishes her version of the story it
begins to snow causing a commotion among the warm
fairies. Queen Clarion, Tink, and a group of fairies arrive at
the river to find Clank and Bobble trying to stop the snow
machine. They finally manage to do it and throw the
machine into the water, but the freezing storm continues.
The seasons begin to lose balance and the life of the Dust
Tree begins to be questioned; If it starts to cool down, it will
freeze completely and stop producing fairy dust. Tink
notices that the flower Rosetta gave to Periwinkle is still
alive, despite being covered in a sphere of frozen frost.
Tinker Bell flies straight to the Winter Woods, and asks Gliss
and Periwinkle why the flower was still alive. Gliss explains
that the frost sphere keeps the warm air inside, and
Periwinkle suggests that they could cover the Dust Tree
with frost before the storm reaches it. Tinker Bell and the
winter fairies fly straight to the Dust Tree, to try to cover it
but it is too big to finish in time. Then Tinker Bell watches as
Dewey, Lord Milori, and the rest of the winter fairies fly
towards them to help them cover the tree. Afraid that the
storm has reached the tree, the fairies gather around the
well of fairy dust and are happy to see how the fairy dust
flows again without any problem. When everyone
celebrates, Tinker Bell sadly shows how one of her wings is
broken due to her flight to the Winter Woods and warns
Periwinkle to return home before the same thing happens
to her. As the sisters say goodbye and place their wings
together, an explosion of glowing lights comes out of them,
healing Tink's broken wing.
From that day on, the warm fairies could cross the border
whenever they wanted since a cover of frost would allow
them to keep their wings at room temperature. Thanks to
this Tinker Bell did not have to say goodbye to Periwinkle,
Lord Milori and Queen Clarion got back together, even
Rosetta began a small romance with Sled. A great friendship
between warm and winter fairies began to bloom, as
beautiful as the Periwinkle flower.
