4.- PROCEDURE
4.1 Staff in general must maintain order and cleanliness in all work areas; and carry out
the adequate segregation of solid waste in compliance with the Solid Waste
Minimization and Management Plan at the SHUNTUR Mining Unit.
4.2 Staff must temporarily store solid waste in metal containers located at collection
points or in receptacles inside the facilities.

administrative offices, according to the Color Code established by MINERA
SHUNTUR SAC, indicated in Annex No. 01.
4.3 The personnel in charge of managing solid waste in the Mining Unit must have the
appropriate PPE for their work.
4.4 SSOMA staff, with the support of Human Resources staff, will collect solid waste at
the “Collection Points” according to the Internal Solid Waste Collection Schedule.
4.5 SSOMA staff will carry out the collection and final disposal of waste
biomedical according to PETS –SSOMA –
008.
4.6 The management of residual oils and hydrocarbons will be carried out according to the
PETS –
SSOMA – 006.
4.7 SSOMA staff will distribute the containers containing organic waste to the
communities in the area of influence for reuse.
4.8 The evacuation of the residual oil and hydrocarbon containers to the Recycling Yard
will be carried out in compliance with the established safety measures.
4.9 The waste collected in the Mining Unit will be placed in the Patio de
Recycled for subsequent final disposal by an EO-RS.
4.10 SSOMA personnel must store each type of recovered waste in the Recycling Yard
and fill out the corresponding records for their control.
4.11 The personnel in charge of waste management must disinfect their biosafety suit
using a sprayer with DQM and wash their hands correctly.
4.12 The evacuation of hazardous waste through an EO-RS will be recorded in the
corresponding format by SSOMA personnel.
4.13 The Environmental Supervisor will be in charge of making the arrangements
corresponding for the final disposal of solid waste through an EO-RS. It will also fill
out the Annual Solid Waste Management Declaration and manage the Hazardous
Solid Waste Evacuation Manifesto.
