INTRODUCTION

Within the different activities carried out by the mining industry, a

large number of dangers can be identified, which are inherent to it
and which, therefore, cannot be eliminated. That is why, through
the application of adequate administration of risk management
tools, it seeks to reduce the levels of operational risks.

Likewise, an emergency preparation and response structure is

used for the activities carried out within the organization, in the
event that an activity goes out of control and a contingency
occurs.

• Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods) or technological.
• Spills or leaks of hazardous materials.

General recommendations:

• The person who first becomes aware of the emergency situation

should, as far as possible, carry out the first response operations, as
long as he or she is trained to do so.
• To the AI Emergency Center You must provide the following
information:
“….Name and telephone extension of the caller, location of the
emergency, brief description of the emergency, if there were injuries,
indicate number and condition, indicate if there are already personnel
controlling the emergency.
• Stay calm and do not hang up until you have answered all the
questions from the Emergency Center, which will serve as valuable
initial information for the brigades.
