GUIDE TO WEBSITES TO REACH LEVEL B2

Learning a language requires perseverance . This means practice, practice and

more practice . Dedicating a couple of hours a week is not enough. We need to do
a lot on our part.

We must dedicate, as far as possible, some time almost every day to develop
each of the skills: reading , writing , listening and speaking , in addition to the
use of the language (grammar and vocabulary). It is not necessary to work on
each of them every day, it is important to alternate.

The following web pages offer a variety of English exercises adapted to the B2 level
that will help you learn and develop strategies to take said exam. In this way you
will be able to organize your learning more effectively and you will be able to work
autonomously in your learning process while doing English exercises in a more
enjoyable and fun way.

GUIDE TO WEBSITES TO REACH LEVEL A2: READING AND WRITING

The English Proficiency Test – Level A2 evaluates two foreign language skills:
reading comprehension and basic writing.

Comprehensive reading contains general knowledge texts. The assessment of this

skill is the highest in the exam because 80% of the grade corresponds to it.

The writing skill at level A2 has the following activity: Applicants must demonstrate
their ability to write short texts such as, for example, paragraphs on the following
topics: Description of events, preferences, daily life, habits and routines, facts
pasts, personal and professional experiences, important events in someone's or
personal life, everyday issues, future plans and reasons for those plans,
technology, feelings and emotions.

Written skill is evaluated out of 20 points. The applicant for the postgraduate
program must pass the exam with a minimum of 70/100 (both skills added).

The following pages will help you learn about and develop strategies to take an
exam that measures the A2 level in the English language. The readings you will
find are general English, and the comprehension strategies can be applied to texts
specific to the area of specialization. Also included are websites that will help you
practice writing skills, as well as explanatory videos to achieve better performance.
