HIP ULTRASOUND

FINDINGS:

Femoral neurovascular bundle within normality, absence of suspicious


lymphadenopathy.

Hip joint with visible regular bone edges. Anechoic femoral cartilage of
preserved thickness and absence of joint impingement in the profile visualized.
No joint effusion or signs of synovitis were observed.
Iliofemoral tendon of preserved thickness and absence of significant
morphological alterations in the anterosuperior labrum.
Iliopsoas muscle and tendon, insertions of the rectus femoris, sartorius, and
tensor fascia lata without alterations in its echostructure or signs of bone
avulsion.

Gluteal tendons and insertion of preserved echostructure and thickness and


absence of Doppler vascular signal. No cortical irregularities were observed in
the trochanter or distention of peritrochanteric bursae.

Adductor muscles without significant pathological alterations.


Preserved echostructure hamstring muscles without evidence of proximal
musculotendinous injury.
Preserved ecostructure sciatica .

CONCLUSION:

Hip ultrasound study within normal limits.
