WHAT IS AN OPINION ARTICLE?

► The opinion article, also known as an opinion column,


is a text that aims to awaken a certain interest in
public opinion by addressing topics or problems in the
first person.
► The people who write their points of view in these
texts tend to be notable figures or those who have a
certain relevance in their specialties; For example,
they can be people related to politics, economics or
literature. These people will be called “columnists”.
