Complete Discipleship
CORE: TRAINING
DIRECTED TO: NEW BELIEVERS AND BROTHERS OF THE CHURCH WHO HAVE
NOT TAKEN IT
S. MATTHEW 28:19-20
PRESENTATION
This course is essential for every new believer and constitutes one of the essential
requirements to take the following levels of discipleship.
It corresponds to the area of evangelism and discipleship and is composed of the following
topics:
The basic discipleship course is aimed at training the new believer in all areas linked to
Christian life in the immediate future. In addition to making you aware of the bases of biblical
doctrine.
The main point on which the need to teach this course is based is the fact of what was
declared by the Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Scriptures: “ Go therefore and make disciples
of all nations ” ...
Teaching this course is justified by its objective, which is in accordance with what the Holy
Scriptures teach.
The knowledge related to the basic discipleship course is closely linked to the profile that the
Word of God demands and to the type of believers that ICIRMAR is requiring in recent times.
c. Disciplinary approach
The original idea that gives rise to the basic discipleship course is to promote the spiritual
growth of each new believer through the basic truths of Christian doctrine. This will allow the
believer to put into practice the knowledge he acquires.
In this process, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, the student, the discipler, and the written lessons
are the main participants in each and every topic and activity.
The goal is for the new believer to begin to be a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ both internally
and externally and to practice the Christian life inside and outside the congregation. In such a
d. Objective: The new believer will know and put into practice the bases of the Christian
life to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ.
e. Organization of contents
The main objective was distributed into four specific objectives, each corresponding to a study
unit. In each unit, the contents and activities that will be the central point of attention in the
design of classes and learning activities were grouped.
The sequence in which the units are presented meets the needs of the development of the
Christian life in the new believer.
f. Pedagogical suggestions
The contents of each unit are described in such a way that they serve the discipler as a guide
for planning their classes and designing learning activities.
In order to consolidate both class planning and the selection of teaching materials, they must
be carried out in accordance with the following principles:
The Biblical portions that will be read within the course will have the following characteristics:
a) They will allow us to know that the Bible is the only rule of our faith and to
which our lives must conform.
The course discipler with a notional-functional approach ceases to be the central character in
the classroom to become a facilitator, conductor and guide of the work. The main work of the
discipler is done in the days before his class, when he sets the objectives for the session and
plans the most appropriate learning activities to promote spiritual growth in new believers.
The nature with which the course was designed requires that the discipler fulfill the following
responsibilities:
a) Love God with all your heart and be a regular reader of the Bible
b) Have full knowledge of the topic to be discussed with believers (the lesson
to be presented must be resolved and well studied so as not to read it)
c) Your own experience on the subject is essential to share what you have
experienced
d) Feel a deep love for new believers
e) Be punctual in each of the classes
f) Use clear and simple language within the topic (not too formal or
religious but not grotesque or vulgar either)
g) Provide teaching materials that complement teaching
h) Promote healthy coexistence and a fraternal atmosphere between him and
the believers (be happy and kind to everyone without falling into simplicity)
i)Minister (provide God's blessing to meet the needs of those present) to new
believers during class
j)Support each disciple in daily and specific prayer throughout the course.
Welcome. We would like to cordially invite you to join us for the discipleship course. Which consists of
sixteen lessons lasting one hour each, through which you will learn about the love of God and
experience a relationship of friendship with Him.
3. “THE REDEMPTION”
You will know that the price of your ransom was paid by Jesus Christ.
4. “JUSTIFICATION BY FAITH”
Through this lesson you will be able to know that Jesus Christ took your sins and bore them on Him.
5. “A NEW BIRTH”
You will know that by accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior you gain new life.
6. “ADOPTION”
In this lesson you will learn what it means to be a child of God by adoption.
10. “PRAYER”
You will know the different types of prayer and their requirements to obtain God's answer.
RECOMMENDATIONS SHEET
“The goal of Christian education is not only to produce people with notions of Biblical
facts, but people transformed intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally by their
relationship with Jesus Christ.”
It is of utmost importance that classes are held in a room that is clean, tidy and as
pleasant as possible away from the congregation.
It is suggested that you invite the entire congregation to take the basic discipleship
course without suspending Sunday school from the syllabus.
It is important that a teaching strategy is applied in each of the classes so that the
teaching is better understood by the students.
It is important that the new believer memorize the text corresponding to the lesson
discussed, which he will write down on a sheet that the discipler will provide in the
next class. This will create the habit of memorizing a biblical text every week.
The pastor must surround himself with a work team that loves God and souls and is
willing to carry out the activities with their greatest effort. (a single person, no
matter how hard he tries, will not be able to carry the entire workload)

Objective: The new believer will learn that God loves him and is personally interested in him,
he will know that by accepting this love his soul is strengthened and his life is directed to live
according to his teachings and thus receive what God wants to offer him.
This class is illustrated through two plates: the first with a drawn heart and in the center of it,
the base text of this lesson. The second sheet also has a heart but in the center of it only a
horizontal line.
Material:
2 pieces of cardboard or white sheets.
Red foamy to make the hearts.
White cards to write the names of each student
Lesson no. 1 for the student “Strength through love”
Material preparation:
1. Draw and cut out a heart in the foam of the appropriate size for the group of people
who will be served.
2. Paste each heart on the sheets or cardboard as appropriate.
Didactic Strategy.
Start by asking how important it is to know that someone loves us and what the attitudes
towards us of the people who love us are.
Show the first sheet with the text and explain it.
Show the second picture, write their name on a card and stick it on the heart.
Finish the lesson, invite him to accept God's love, pray with the new disciple

“STRENGTH THROUGH LOVE”
“BELOVED, I WISH THAT YOU PROSPER IN ALL THINGS, AND THAT YOU HAVE

3rd John 2
For the rest of the world you may only be a number, a license plate, a simple piece of paper
on each document that identifies you, but for God you are an important person and He loves
you.
He tells you that He loves you and that He has been waiting for the moment when you
recognize His love and consider Him in every decision in your life.
The security of his love is a guarantee that he is interested in all the things that happen to you
and is willing to help you:
When we distance ourselves from the love of God and his care, the consequences are
negative “...because apart from me nothing ______________________” John 15:5
Far from God, our soul is filled with sufferings that cannot be seen with the naked eye:
resentment, bitterness, sadness, selfishness, pride, etc. And this causes harm to us and
those around us, wears us down and prevents us from adequately fulfilling the responsibilities
of our lives.
God wants to fill your life with his love and strength, recognize that he loves you, ask for
forgiveness for having offended him and give him your life.

Objective: The new believer will know the greatness of God's love towards sinful man and
will make the decision to repent and invite Jesus into his heart so that through him he can
enjoy this blessing.
* This class is illustrated by means of plates that contain each of the four truths and its base
text (each truth will be written according to the color suggested in the preparation of the
material)
Material:
Yellow, black, red and white foamy
Decorative boxes (according to the number of teams)
Strips of paper (streamers, printing paper, thin cardboard, etc.)
Miscellaneous objects: soda caps, #2 Styrofoam balls, etc.
Irregular foam and Styrofoam cutout
1 small chocolate
Lesson no. 1 for the student “The four spiritual truths of the plan of
salvation”
Material preparation:
3. Draw and cut out each of the four truths letter by letter on the foam (first truth: yellow,
second truth: black, third truth: red, fourth truth: white)
4. Mix all the materials together with the letters of the four truths inside the boxes (one
box per team)
Didactic Strategy.
The discipler will answer the lesson together with the class.
At the end of the class, the discipler will integrate the new believers into teams according to
the number of members of their class (it is suggested that each team does not exceed the
number of six members) giving them a box per team within which they will search and
assemble the four spiritual truths according to the color of each of them. (estimated time for
this activity: 10 min.)
The purpose of this activity is for each new believer to know that salvation is a gift that God
offers through these four spiritual truths in the midst of a world of confusion, explaining to
them that in life there are many things that are not useful and some others that although they
are pleasant, their usefulness is fleeting.
God loves me !
The truth of God's love. He loves you so much that the Bible says:
"__________________________________________________________________________ (only),
God in his immense love gave you a Savior so that you may have eternal life.
God's plan for all of us is for us to enjoy an abundant life, Jesus said:
“________________________________________________________________________________
_________________________________”. (San Juan. 10: 10). Jesus promised a full life, full
of PURPOSES . This life that Christ offers begins here on earth and continues in eternity.
Do you know that many people do not enjoy the love of God?
we all sin
In other words, we are separated from God because we have all failed to fulfill God's commandments.
Sin has affected man in such a way that his being has been weakened and his mind has been blinded;
He has no strength to stop doing wrong.
God knew that man could never reach Him by his own efforts, religion, morals, good works
etc.
God provided the solution through Jesus, He died to pay the price for our sins, The Bible
says:
"________________________________________________________________________________
Jesus Christ is the only mediator between man and God, because only he gave his life and shed his
blood for us, Saint Paul says:
"________________________________________________________________________________
You cannot reach God through works, nor through science, nor through philosophy, nor through any
other person, no matter how kind they have been or are. Only through Jesus. He said:
"________________________________________________________________________________
It is time to enter the only true path and the fourth truth will tell us how.
Repentance and faith in Christ are the means to make that salvation our own.
Repentance is the change of attitude towards sin; through which the person recognizes, confesses
and turns away from his sins.
Then by accepting Christ by faith as our Savior, we receive God's forgiveness and eternal life. (To
accept Christ is to invite him to reign in our hearts and change our lives.)
Salvation is a gift from God to man, it costs us nothing because Jesus paid the price for it on the
cross.
The Bible says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice and opens the
door, I will come in to him..." If you open the door of your heart, Jesus will enter and free you from
the slavery of sin, and make you his son. The gospel tells us : "But as many as received him, to
those who believed in his name, he gave the power (right) to become children of God." (Saint
John 1: 12).
Believing and receiving are not the same, you can believe that the medicine the doctor prescribed is
effective, but if you do not take it, your body will not heal from your illness. Many say they believe in
Jesus but do not receive him; and others say that they receive it but do not believe, they do it to
please the one who gives them the message or a friend or family member; but they have not really
appreciated what Jesus has done for them.
If you accept Christ as your savior, from that moment on you will enjoy the abundant and eternal life
that He has promised us.
To receive Jesus, open your heart to Him and say in your prayer:
Lord Jesus, I open the door of my heart to you and receive you as my Savior and Lord. Forgive
my sins and change my life, cleanse me with the blood you shed on the cross. Thank you for
forgiveness and for eternal life that you offer me today. Amen.

TEXT TO MEMORIZE:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him
should not perish but have eternal life.
Saint John 3:16
Objective: The new believer will know that the price of his ransom was paid by Jesus Christ
on the cross of Calvary.
* This class is illustrated by means of a plate with a drawing of a man who is enslaved with a
shackle (see sheet attached to the lesson for the student).
Material:
Didactic Strategy.
The discipler will ask each new believer to write the text corresponding to the previous lesson,
just as they memorized it, on a sheet of paper with their name and will collect it to evaluate
the progress of each of them.
Before giving the lesson to the new believers, the discipler will integrate the new believers into
teams and ask them to discuss among themselves the case of a person who has been
kidnapped and needs to be rescued, taking into account that said person is very important to
them, so they will have to decide how much they are willing to give for their rescue according
to the economic possibilities of each one. Finally, a member of each team will comment on
how much they are willing to pay to rescue that person and the reasons that motivated them
to offer said rescue (estimated time for this activity: 15 min.)
Later, the discipler will answer the lesson together with the class.
The purpose of this activity is for each new believer to know that God paid a ransom for each
of us and that the price was the blood of Jesus Christ.
It is important that we understand the importance of this topic since then we will realize what God did
for us through Jesus.
We can also say that redeem means: Release the debtor by paying a ransom.
(1 Corinthians 6:20)
In the beginning God created man in his image and likeness, however, when man sinned, he became
a slave to sin.
Since then man is unable to do or give anything to be free from sin, therefore, he needs to be
redeemed (rescued).
The man who is in sin is separated from God and needs to be rescued. Complete the following text:
The blood of Christ is the redemption (ransom) of the captives of sin to free them from condemnation.
If God has rescued us through Jesus Christ, we can say that we are now free from the sins that kept
us enslaved.
It is necessary that each of us enjoy every day the freedom that Jesus has given us.
that Christ has made us free, and that you will not be subject again
______________________________________
Our Lord Jesus Christ presents his death as a ransom for all men. He laid down his life voluntarily,
since no one had the power to take it away. Please read Saint John 10:17-18
So, we must consider the death of Jesus not as an event resulting from circumstances, but as the
great purpose for which Jesus Christ came into the world. He was no mere martyr to the truth; his
death was voluntary. His death was to rescue us from sin and death.

Lesson no. 4 for the student “Justification by faith”
Didactic Strategy
The discipler will ask each new believer to write the text corresponding to the previous lesson,
just as they memorized it, on a sheet of paper with their name and will collect it to evaluate
the progress of each of them.
Before giving the new believers the lesson, the discipler will put them into teams, which will
act as a jury and judge in a court analyzing a case (attached sheets) issuing a verdict and a
sentence. Sharing with the class the reasons that led them to make that decision. (estimated
time for this activity: 15 min.)
Later the discipler will answer the lesson together with the class.
The purpose of this activity is to let the new believer know that human justice is not
compared to Divine justice since God took away our sins and placed them on Christ so that
we would be justified.
“JUSTIFICATION BY FAITH”
The results related to the application of salvation are summarized in three groups, which are:
a) Justification
b) Regeneration
c) Sanctification
In this lesson we will analyze the first point. Justification means: To acquit, to declare the guilty just.
More broadly we would say that justification is an act of God's free grace, through which he forgives all
our sins and accepts us as if we were righteous ; only by virtue of the righteousness of Jesus Christ,
which is given to us and is received through faith.
For what purpose did God the Father make Jesus sin? A __________________________________

In other words, our justification was achieved because God our Father took our sins and added them
to Christ, then subtracted the righteousness of Christ and placed it on us.

Objective: That the new believer knows that by accepting Jesus as his Savior he obtains a
new life which is produced by the work of the Holy Spirit.
* This class is illustrated by means of a picture that contains the definition of what the new
birth is.
Material:
1 mural-sized map of the Mexican Republic, with political division
1 rectangle of 15 x 6 cm of white opaline
1 red luster paper heart
Paper glue or adhesive pencil
Lesson no. 5 for the student “A new birth”
Note.- The opaline rectangle and the heart are per student
Didactic Strategy
The discipler will ask each new believer to write the text corresponding to the previous lesson,
just as they memorized it, on a sheet of paper with their name and will collect it to evaluate
the progress of each of them.
1. At the beginning of the class, the discipler will ask some of the new believers: Where were
you born? so that every time they mention a State of the Mexican Republic, they will locate it
on the map. After having asked, the discipler will specify to the new believers that each of the
States mentioned was where we were physically born, but that now that we have received
Jesus as our Savior we have been born again and then the question arises: What is the place
of our birth?
2. The discipler will answer the lesson together with the class.
3. At the end of the class, the discipler will give each new believer an opaline rectangle and a
heart, and ask them to write on the rectangle “Kingdom of Heaven” and on the heart to write
their name, gluing the heart inside the rectangle, which can serve as a separator. (estimated
time for each activity: 5 min.)
The purpose of this activity is for the new believer to know that now that he has been born
again, he can be sure that his citizenship is in the kingdom of heaven, since this is what the
Word of God expresses.
A New Birth
_________________________________________________________________________________
Jesus tells Nicodemus (v. 3) “Unless one is born again , he cannot see the kingdom of God” So every
man to be able to see and be in the kingdom of God needs: “A new birth”
The new birth is the change of heart experienced by a person who believes and receives
Jesus as his Savior and Lord. This change is called REGENERATION.
The only one who can bring about the new birth in man is the Holy Spirit .
The new birth or regeneration is an immediate benefit of salvation .

KINGDOM OF HEAVENS
The human being tries to change his own behavior, fighting against his own sin; and his
willpower does not allow him to achieve this change, because the heart of man always leans
towards evil.
In the biblical passage that we read, a need is established for man to see the kingdom of God. This
need arises because he lives a disordered life and because his heart has been filled with evil .
Write 3 reasons why man needs a change in his heart. (they are underlined in the previous paragraph)

The new birth or regeneration is a necessity for every man who is in sin, because only then will he be
able to live a different life inclined to do good and will be able to enjoy eternal life and enter the
Kingdom of Heaven.
How are we? Who are you trusting? Are you trusting your religion? In his good works? Where and
how is your heart? Have you experienced a change or are you still inclined towards the bad? Do you
think someone could enter heaven with a heart full of evil?
That is why to enter the Kingdom of heaven, all men need to repent of our sins and ask the Holy Spirit
to make us be born again.
No one should harbor false hopes, believing that because they have a religion that is only in name for
most people, they will be able to enter the Kingdom of heaven.
Decide now to seek God in truth and with all your heart and He will make you a new person.

TEXT TO MEMORIZE:
“So if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things passed away; behold, they are all made

Objective: The new believer will know what it means to be a child of God by adoption and will
know the benefits that have been granted to him.
Material:
Annex questionnaire
Lesson no. 6 for the student “Adoption”
Didactic Strategy
The discipler will ask each new believer to write the text corresponding to the previous lesson,
just as they memorized it, on a sheet of paper with their name and will collect it to evaluate
the progress of each of them.
At the beginning of the class, the discipler will invite the new believers to answer the
questionnaire in order to assess whether they are candidates to adopt a child (if someone is
single, they will be asked to think as if they were already married).
Subsequently, they will join teams and comment on their answers so that later one member
per team can share with the entire class which answers they agreed on.
Finally, the discipler will answer the lesson together with the class.
The purpose of this activity is for the new believer to know that although human beings
cannot commit themselves to that much, there is someone who did not care what we were,
had or where we came from and wanted to adopt us as his children, committing to give us all
the very possible. So much so that although he was rich, he made his only son poor so that
we could become rich in him.
Custody of the minor will be granted after having analyzed your answers and as long as you
are willing to assume your commitments and obligations towards the minor.
1. Are you willing to invest your time and money to provide him with all the good possible
even though you know he is adopted?

“THE ADOPTION”
Adoption: Action of adopting, adopting. Receive someone as a son, make him your own. Embrace.
Adoption is the act by which a person welcomes a stranger as a member of his or her family,
recognizing him or her as his or her child, constituting him or her heir to his or her property. In
the doctrine of salvation, adoption is the declarative act of God by which, having been justified
by faith in Christ Jesus, we are received into the family of God and reinstated in the privileges
of sonship. It is an act of the free grace of God, who by receiving us as children constitutes us
heirs of the heavenly heritage.
Adoption, as we already said, occurs at the same moment of justification and regeneration.
Forgiveness erases sin, justification makes us acceptable before God, regeneration changes our
hearts, and adoption actually welcomes us into the family of God as “being made children of God.”
We come to be:
1. Children of God through faith in Christ. And if we are now his children we can say “Our Father”
Now we can ask with the assurance of receiving, we can depend on its protection, care and
maintenance. We can feel and enjoy his presence and love.

Objective: The new believer will know that through 3 truthful testimonies he can be assured
of his salvation.
* This class is illustrated by means of a picture that contains the 3 testimonies of the security
of salvation.
Material:
a scarf
2 paper circles of 20 cm. diameter (different color)
4 written phrases that say: “The Word of God”, “Testimony of a
changed life”, “Testimony of the Holy Spirit” and “Three testimonies of
my salvation”
1 paw brooch
Lesson no. 7 for the student “The assurance of salvation”
Note.- The last three materials mentioned are per student
Material preparation:
1. The discipler will cut out 2 20 cm circles. in diameter (different color) per
student
2. It will divide one of the circles into 3 parts, marking the divisions (only with
pencil)
3. From the other circle you will cut a third part (see attached sheet)
Didactic Strategy:
The discipler will ask each new believer to write the text corresponding to the previous lesson,
just as they memorized it, on a sheet of paper with their name and will collect it to evaluate
the progress of each one of them.
1. At the beginning of the class, the discipler will invite two volunteers to come forward and
blindfold one of them, explaining that they will walk a considerable distance in which they will
have to cross obstacles and that they will only be guided by the voice of their partner. .
Subsequently, the discipler will ask the volunteers what their experience was like, inviting the
class to give their opinion.
2. The discipler will answer the lesson together with the class.
3. At the end of the class, each new believer will be given two circles of a different color and a
sheet with phrases that they must cut out and paste. In the complete circle, they will paste a
phrase in each division and in the incomplete circle they will paste the phrase “Three
testimonies of my salvation.” Finally, they will make a hole in both circles, joining them with a
brooch, so that they can rotate. (estimated time for this activity: 10 min.)
The purpose of this activity is for the new believer to always keep in mind the three
testimonies that guarantee the security of his salvation.
“ASSURANCE OF SALVATION”
Security is defined as the state of being safe or certain. Dr. C. YO. Scofield defines it like this:
"Assurance is the believer's full conviction that salvation is received through faith only through the
work of Christ ."
If we asked people, Are you saved?, many would answer: "I hope so", "I hope to be saved someday."
Everyone who has received Jesus into their heart must have complete assurance that they are saved.
Today we will see through three testimonies that do not lie, that we can be sure of our salvation.
1. Testimony of the Word of God . The Bible says that by believing in Christ as our personal savior,
we have eternal life , (John 3:16-18). This eternal life begins here on earth
It is life without end, life that does not end with death. Since whoever possesses it, upon dying here on
earth: His soul immediately passes into the presence of God and in the resurrection, his body will be
raised if he is in the tomb, or if he has not died when the Lord Jesus Christ comes, he will be
transformed and will continue to live with Christ eternally.

Perhaps someone, after having invited Jesus into their heart, may continue to think that they sinned a
lot and that perhaps God has not forgiven them.

2. Testimony of a changed life . Someone who has been born again can see that their life has
changed, both in their actions and their way of thinking. The changed life is the clearest testimony of
eternal life.
A _______________________________________________________________________________
3. Testimony of the Holy Spirit . The Holy Spirit also collaborates confirming that we are truly
saved.
A _______________________________________________________________________________
Our true security is based on the promises of God . The Holy Spirit within us gives us that security and
testifies directly to our hearts: that we are children of God; We can then say that the Holy Spirit
testifies that Jesus Christ loved me and gave himself for me and that all my sins have been forgiven.

It is very important to have the security of salvation, because our actions and thoughts will depend on
this hope . If someone calls themselves a Christian, and does not have the security of their salvation,
they run the risk of giving up (going back) easily.
a) Through prayer
b) With the reading of the Word of God
c) Bearing witness to what God has done in our lives
d) Gathering and sharing our faith with other Christians
Let us thank God for his great love in giving us a savior who died for our sins; for the transformed life

TEXT TO MEMORIZE:
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost” Luke 19:10
Objective: The new believer will learn that God primarily desires to have communion with him
and that this is the beginning of integral prosperity.
It is important that the new disciple knows that to have communion with Him, it is necessary to
recognize that we are sinners, that Christ died for us and that by repenting and giving our
hearts to Him, we become His children and this is the only way for our soul to truly prosper.

LESSON No. 8
“STRENGTH THROUGH PERSONAL COMMUNION WITH GOD”
“BELOVED, I WISH THAT YOU PROSPER IN ALL THINGS, AND THAT YOU HAVE
HEALTH JUST AS YOUR SOUL PROSPERS”
3rd John 2
What does this conditional phrase refer to that crowns that long-awaited human desire for
prosperity and that seems like a promise impossible to achieve?
Communion: It is family treatment, the intimate communication of one person with another.
“God is faithful, by whom you were called to _________________________ with his Son
Jesus Christ” 1 Corinthians 1:9
The love that God has for you makes him long for you to be his child and treat you as such.
“But to all who received him, to whom he _______________ in his name, he gave the right to
become _______________ of God” John 1:12
When you think he loves you; you believe that he gave his Son Jesus Christ as a ransom for
you; You believe that He can forgive you and you ask Him, then you go from being His
creature to being His ____________ and in that communion He can help you in all areas of
your life.
We can enjoy the best of this life with his help ““But seek first the kingdom of God and his
righteousness, and all these things will be ____________________” Matthew 6:33
True prosperity begins when your soul has peace with God “Justified; For by faith we have
__________ toward God through our Lord Jesus Christ” Romans 5:1
Perhaps the people around us and the entire world do not change, what God wants to give us
does not depend on this, the true changes occur in the soul, God knows how to treat each of
us personally.
He knows what you need and knows that at this moment your biggest problem is SIN, and
that it has distanced you from God. “For all have sinned, and are _________________ from
the glory of God” Romans 3:23
But rejoice, he is willing to forgive you “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to

God gives goes beyond the value of gold and health. What it offers you is far beyond the
physical symptoms and the best that we can enjoy in this life and the next is free, the rest will
be added in time.
Do you approach God only to ask for health or do you want to know Him as a doctor?
Are you just looking for his help or do you want to know him as your supplier? And if it were
not necessary to ask him for anything, would you be interested in getting to know him as a
person ?
“God is faithful, by whom you were called into COMMUNION with his
Son Jesus Christ” 1 Corinthians 1:9
The love that God has for you makes him long for you to be his child

“But to all who received him, to those who RECEIVED and believed in
his name, he gave the right to become SONS of God” John 1:12
When you think he loves you; you believe that he gave his Son Jesus

and in that communion He can help you in all areas of your life.
We can enjoy the best of this life with his help “But seek first the

Every day we strive to achieve things for ourselves and for the people we love,
the wealth that God gives goes beyond the value of gold and health. What it
offers you is far beyond the physical symptoms, the best we can enjoy in this life

LET'S PRAY
Objective: The new believer will know what a devotional moment is and how it is carried out,
which will allow him or her to have a better communion with God.
* This class is illustrated through pictures with the definition of what a devotional moment is
and the steps that indicate how to do it.
Material:
1 transparent disposable cup
1 piece of cotton
1 bean
Water
Lesson no. 9 for the student “Devotional Bible Study”
Didactic Strategy:
The discipler will ask each new believer to write the text corresponding to the previous lesson,
just as they memorized it, on a sheet of paper with their name and will collect it to evaluate
the progress of each of them.
The discipler will answer the lesson together with the class.
At the end of the class, the discipler will invite the new believers to carry out a germination
process, placing the previously wet piece of cotton and the seed (bean) inside the glass.
Inviting them to seek the growth of the seed. (estimated time for this activity: 10 min.)
This activity does not end here, believers will be invited to water their seed every day they
have their devotional moment.
Note.- On the day when there is no devotional time, the seed will not be watered.
The purpose of this activity is for the new believer to know that just as the seed needs water
to grow, so will their communion with God grow if they carry out their devotional moment day
by day.
It is a time of intimate communion with God. It is a moment dedicated to God to worship him, thank
him and for us to receive his Word.
Every believer should establish daily time alone with God for their spiritual growth.
For some the most suitable time is the morning, other people prefer the afternoon or night.
Getting up _____________________________________________________________________

2nd Find the most appropriate place. The believer must have a place for his devotional time free of
interruptions.
A _______________________________________________________________________________
Just as Jesus looked for a quiet and alone place, we must look for a place where we will not be
interrupted.
Reading the Bible every day alone. When reading the Bible we are recommended to use three
techniques:
1 Observation . Through observation we grasp the message of the biblical passage we are reading.
2 Interpretation . Through interpretation we clarify the meaning of the passage or of some words that
we do not understand or are not very clear.
3 Application . Through this, we put into practice what we learn from the passage.
You cannot interpret a biblical passage before having observed it; You cannot apply a biblical passage
before having interpreted it.
Read carefully (Matthew 28:18-20). After reading the passage, what is the first technique we should
use?

Some of the observations we can make from the passage we read are:
Now let's look for the meaning of words or phrases that are not very clear.

What does it mean to be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit?
A _______________________________________________________________________________
A _______________________________________________________________________________
What does it mean: "I am with you always until the end of the world"?
Up to this point you have put into practice two techniques in your devotional reading. What are they?
A _______________________________________________________________________________
a) Knowing that Christ has all power in heaven and on earth encourages me to trust my life in his
hands.
b) That I must make disciples is because the main verb of the passage commands "Make disciples."
c) The disciples of Christ must be baptized in the name of the Divine Trinity, therefore if I have
not done so, I must prepare to be baptized.
d) The promise of having the presence of Christ every day encourages me to fulfill Jesus'
mandate.
In order for you to apply the teaching of a passage when reading the Bible, it is recommended that we
ask ourselves these basic questions:
1. Is there anything here that teaches me about any sin that I should abandon?
2. Are there promises that I can ask God to be fulfilled in me?
3. Are there examples to follow?
4. What does it tell me about the Father, the Son or the Holy Spirit?
5. What should I do with these truths?
Knowing that God wants us to have communion with him every day makes us understand the
importance of devotional time. Therefore, we must record our daily devotional studies in a notebook.

Lesson no. 10 for the student “The Prayer”
Didactic Strategy
The discipler will ask each new believer to write the text corresponding to the previous lesson,
just as they memorized it, on a sheet of paper with their name and will collect it to evaluate
the progress of each of them.
The discipler will answer the lesson together with the class.
At the end of the class, the discipler will motivate the new believers to write a letter to God
following the prayer structure according to what they saw in the class. Likewise, he will
indicate to them that each of them will keep their letter which they will read every day until
God has given them an answer. (estimated time for this activity: 15 min.)
The purpose of this activity is for the new believer to begin practicing prayer every day and
learn that in God there is always an answer.
"THE SENTENCE"
A) THANKSGIVING.- All Christians have many reasons for gratitude towards God.
The Bible teaches us why and when we should give thanks to God.
Please complete the following text.

B) ADORATION.- The dictionary tells us that to worship means to revere a being with great honor or
respect; recognize or attribute value to a person.
Therefore, to worship God is to attribute value to Him. Please read Revelation 4:10-11
C) CONFESSION .- Many times, we offend God with our actions, with our words, with our feelings and
thoughts.

E) INTERCESSION. -In simple words we can say that intercession is the action of one who seeks the
good of another, intervening on their behalf, to obtain a benefit for them.
The Christian must be interested in the needs of others and bring them before God in prayer. By not
praying for others we are demonstrating selfishness.

2. Pray specifically
What was Bartimaeus' specific request when Jesus asked him: What do you want me to do to you?

3. Persevere in faith
God has his moment to act and it is the best. The time of waiting tests our faith and strengthens it,
perfects our patience and our submission to him.
If God is powerful to fulfill everything he has promised, we must keep trusting in God and see the
things we do not have as if we already had them. This is persevering in faith.
We must ask God to make his will known to us since on many occasions we make requests
that are against his will revealed in the Bible.
If we ask according to his will we can be sure that he will answer us.

TEXT TO MEMORIZE:
“Jesus also told them a parable about the need to always pray and not faint.”
Objective : The new believer will know the importance of attending the house of God, and will
make the decision to attend with joy and gratitude, as a way of maintaining communion with
God.
* This class is illustrated by a picture with a drawing of a Temple and the legend “I rejoiced
with those who told me we will go to the house of the Lord.”
Material:
1 drawing of 1 circle illustrating the activities carried out in the house
of God (see attached sheet)
1 paw brooch (per team)
1 letter-size sheet (per team)
Lesson no. 11 for the student “The joy of attending the house of God”
Note.- The material written above is per student
Material preparation
1. Cut out the circle and the drawing of the Temple along the edges
2. Cut out the dotted lines found in the drawing of the Temple (door and

Didactic Strategy
The discipler will ask each new believer to write the text corresponding to the previous lesson,
just as they memorized it, on a sheet of paper with their name and will collect it to evaluate
the progress of each of them.
The discipler will answer the lesson together with the class.
At the end of the class, the discipler will ask the new believers to attach the circle to the
drawing of the Temple on the back with the pin, over the marks indicated by the drawings, so
that when the circle is turned it can be seen from the side. Door and window drawing the
activities that take place inside the house of God. Subsequently, they will be formed into
teams to comment and write on the sheet: Why is it necessary to attend the house of God?
And discuss it with the rest of the class. (Estimated time for this activity: 15 min.)
The purpose of this activity is for the new believer to know the benefits they can obtain by
attending the house of God.

This psalm begins with a testimony of joy and love of all believers who love God.
Let's look at several reasons the Bible gives us to rejoice in attending the house of God.

The temple where you attend may be very humble, but it is better there than being anywhere else . It
is better to be in the temple; than being at the movies, at the sports club, at the house of a relative or

3- BECAUSE THIS WAY WE WILL KEEP THE FERVOR (ENTHUSIASM) TO SERVE GOD.
The Lord commands us to be diligent in his work. By missing services for any unjustified reason, we
manifest laziness and others will take our place in the work.
Let's not do like that drunk who said: "In that temple people change their lives and the sick are healed!
Go!" They asked him, Why don't you go to change? He couldn't answer anything because he
recommended the temple but he didn't attend.
One of the symptoms of the spiritual cooling of our life is to stop attending the house of God. There is
no excuse for those who stop attending services for any pretext.

with God, bringing fatal consequences for his life and will also know that there is a remedy for
sinful man.
* This class is illustrated by means of plates that contain drawings with the text of the different
ways of how man sins.
Material:

Material preparation:
1. Empty the charcoal into the box, throwing it so that small pieces remain
2. Seal the box perfectly and wrap it as a gift
3. Make 3 holes in the box (one in front and one on each side) so that a hand
can fit
Didactic Strategy
The discipler will ask each new believer to write the text corresponding to the previous lesson,
just as they memorized it, on a sheet of paper with their name and will collect it to evaluate
the progress of each of them.
The discipler will ask the class what they think is inside the gift box, then invite 3 volunteers to
come forward and find out what is there, each one inserting their hand at the same time into
the hole they choose. When they take out their hand, the students will realize that it is stained
and that they did not find what they had perhaps imagined. (estimated time for this activity:
10 min.)
Later the discipler will answer the lesson together with the class.
The purpose of this activity is for the new believer to know that sin and temptations appear in
an attractive way in the life of man and can bring serious consequences.
TEMPTATION.- It comes from the verb to tempt and to tempt means to induce to sin.
It is defined as the struggle that originates in our old nature, when the enemy of our souls, the world
and the flesh requests something that goes against the will of God.
_________________________________________________________________________________
______________________________________________________________________James 1:13
The Devil is the source of temptation and the main enemy of the Christian. Together with all their
demons they have the purpose of killing and destroying creation.
THE WORLD.- We understand by world, the pride of life, the fleeting delights and the subtleties that
extinguish faith. This source of temptation also displays its attractions by trying to make the believer
turn away from God. If we give in to the world we become enemies of God.

of God.
2. Sin is everything that separates us from the presence and will of God.

“Blessed is the man who endures temptation; For when you have stood the test, you will receive the
crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him.”
James 1:12

and being a Christian is no exception.
* This class is illustrated with a plate where the subsections of point 3 of the lesson appear.
Material:
Various new items, for example: deaf lamp, pens, notebooks, balls,
toilet soap, pencils, keychains, etc.
Toy bills of the same denomination (considering 3 bills per student)
Cartons with the price of each of the items
Lesson no. 14 for the student “How much does it cost to be a true
Christian?”
Material Preparation:
A table or some place is prepared where the items can be displayed, placing an individual
price higher than the denomination of the bill.
Didactic Strategy:
The discipler will ask each new believer to write the text corresponding to the previous lesson,
just as they memorized it, on a sheet of paper with their name and will collect it to evaluate
the progress of each of them.
The discipler will distribute 3 tickets to each of the students and immediately afterwards
inform them that the lesson that day will have a cost equal to the denomination of the ticket,
asking them who wants to purchase it. Likewise, he will inform them that the pen they will use
that day will also have the same cost as the lesson. Finally, they will be invited to buy one of
the items on display with their remaining ticket. (Estimated time for this activity: 10 min.)
Later, the discipler will answer the lesson together with the class.
The purpose of this class is for the new believer to realize that everything has a price in life and you
cannot get everything you want, just as to follow Christ you have to pay a price, no matter what. can be
lost by giving up the pleasures of the world.
Up to this point you have learned among other things that Jesus died for your sins, the price He paid is
of incalculable value. He wants you to live true Christianity, for this you also need to pay a price.
Today we are going to know what that price is.

The price of the salvation of our souls was paid by Jesus on the cross of Calvary.
Christ gave his blood for us .

Those who turned their backs on Jesus did so because they realized that it was a harsh doctrine .
They were not willing to pay the price.
When Demas realized that he could not participate in worldly pleasures and God at the same time, he
abandoned Christianity. I hadn't calculated the cost. By not counting the cost, thousands of people
who profess to be saved in evangelism campaigns after a little time, return to their previous life.
We must meditate on these truths with all sincerity. We can obtain salvation immediately, freely and
completely in Christ; But we have to understand what it costs to be a true Christian.
We must follow the example of Jesus. He presented and offered salvation and its blessings freely, but
he also spoke about carrying a cross, and the cost that must be paid to live a true Christianity.
Please complete the following text.
Being a Christian in appearance costs nothing, it is enough to be moderately moral and go to services
on Sundays. This is the Christian of the multitudes. It is an easy and cheap faith, without any battle,
without any renunciation of sin.
Let's see one by one the things that a person must give up, in other words, what it will cost him to be a
true Christian:
1.- You must abandon your proud and high opinion that you have of your own goodness .
He must be content to go to heaven as a poor sinner saved by the grace of God and the merits of
Jesus. You should not base your salvation on the fact that you have done good works, you have gone
to the temple; has prayed; has read the Bible; but must trust in the person and work of Christ Jesus.
To be a true Christian we must break with sin, with every habit that is bad in the eyes of God. Have no
concessions with sin, consider sin as the mortal enemy of your soul.Remember that your fight
against sin will be continuous .

12:1
3.- It will be difficult for you to leave the habits of an easy life.
To successfully run the Christian race requires effort and work, we have to watch daily, because we
find ourselves in enemy territory.
The believer must frequently monitor: his tongue, temperament, thought, company and time.

4:8
Do not err;

Taking advantage

4.- It will be difficult for you to leave the favor of the world .
If you want to please God, it should not surprise you that the world mocks you, ridicules you for your
beliefs, accuses you of being a fool, fanatic, crazy, self-righteous, hallelujah, that they raise slander
against you and hate you; But Jesus endured that and much more and did it for you.
All this is hard and difficult, since we do not like to be the target of ridicule, of false accusations, but
the reality is this:
TO CALCULATE THE COST OF FOLLOWING JESUS, COMPARE THE LOSSES AND THE
GAINS.

TEXT TO MEMORIZE:
“And he said to everyone: If anyone wants to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross
daily, and follow me.”
Objective: The new believer will know his responsibility as a child of God to share with others what
God has done in his life
Material:
Sheet attached to the lesson for the student.
Lesson No. 15 for the student “The blessing of sharing the gospel”
Didactic Strategy:
The discipler will ask each new believer to write the text corresponding to the previous lesson as they
memorized it on a sheet of paper with their name and will collect it to evaluate the progress of each of
them.
The discipler will answer the lesson together with the class.
At the end of the class, each new believer will prepare their testimony following the steps learned
during the class and later the discipler will ask some of them to share it with the rest of the group.
The purpose of this activity is for each new believer to learn to witness and be willing to share with
others what God has done in their life.
The greatest blessing that a human being can have in this life is to receive Christ as his Savior and
Lord.
That is why it is so important that every person who has had this experience shares it with everyone
around them.
When Nathanael asked if something good could come out of Nazareth, what did Philip answer?
The importance of every Christian sharing Christ is found in the words of Jesus Christ.

People who do not accept Jesus as their Savior, repenting for their sins, are at great risk of being
condemned to eternal death, which is why we need to share Christ with them, because only He can
save them.
The simplest way to share our faith is through our testimony. This is telling what Jesus has done with
us.
You can also tell the great things that Jesus has done to you, through a well-presented testimony

At the end of your testimony, you can invite those who listen to you to receive Christ in their hearts by
lovingly telling them: that God loves them and that the sins that separate us from God can be erased
by the blood that Jesus shed when he died on the cross, Therefore all those who sincerely repent and
ask Him for forgiveness are made children of God and heirs of all His promises.
