FIRST PARTICIPATORY DIAGNOSIS OF COMMUNITY

MENTAL HEALTH.
DOMINGO ASUN SALAZAR COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER.

RTICIPANTS
25 organizations from the city of Valparaíso participated, among which are;
users of the Servi Health Network Valparaíso - San Antonio Health Center
(SSVSA), SSVSA officials, representatives of educational institutions and
programs, Network of Homeless People, Cultural Centers of Playa Ancha,
Cerro Las Cañas and Cerro la Cruz, and representatives of the Board of
Intercultural Health of Native Peoples of the Valparaíso - San Antonio Health
Service.
GOALS
Analyze the main problems identified at the community level, which affect the
quality of life of the people who are living in the territory corresponding to the
work area of the Domingo Asún Salazar Community Mental Health Center.
METHODOLOG
YThe methodology used was through the construction of participatory work
tables, encouraging group analysis of the topics addressed, promoting the
collective construction of proposals around different thematic topics of
community mental health.
RESULTS
The results of the first participatory diagnosis of common mental health nitaria,
have been systematized into 4 main categories, which are the product of collective
construction among the participants of the work tables held.
The categories are divided into: Operation of the mental health network in
Valparaíso; consumption of alcohol and other drugs; low city participation Dana;
Mental Health and violation of the rights of children and adolescents ncence.
