PHYSIOTHERAPY PROPOSAL

Strengthening a unit Rehabilitation constitutes a fundamental step to achieve

rehabilitation with a comprehensive approach. Within this management proposal, it

begins with the analysis of the situation of the physiotherapy service within the

Department of Physical Rehabilitation of the San José IPS clinic in order to publicize,

strengthen and improve the design of an optimal care model where the The patient is the

central axis, according to the needs of the institution and aligned with its policy of

contributing to the well-being of people and the community.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

Obtain updated management that involves relaxation, physical conditioning and patient

education, which is carried out in a personalized way, in an environment of harmony and

under high-quality professional follow-up.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

 Provide comprehensive care through prevention, promotion, treatment and

rehabilitation services.

 Provide quality service, care and guarantee of rehabilitation according to the

pathology.

 Teach the patient and their family how to help them adapt to the change and

lifestyle.

 Provide a good service with the necessary instruments in good condition to carry

out the therapy.

 Promote interventions and restore the integrity of body systems essential for

movement, increase function and recovery, reduce disability, and increase quality

of life in individuals with altered movement behaviors resulting from impairments,

functional limitations, or disabilities.

 Interact with the patient, family or caregivers using education and management to

establish agreements on objectives.

DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL

The proposal to implement the physiotherapy service for the San José IPS clinic has as one

of the objectives to improve, demonstrate and offer a quality service to the general

population, this will give us better recognition at the regional level within the points of

improvement we have. :

Have the necessary equipment such as:

  2 tens

 1 paraffin

 Cold compresses for back, neck, knee.

 hot compresses

 1 refrigerator

 1 hydrocollection

 1 infrared lamp

 Conditioned treatment room (AIR CONDITIONING)

 It is advisable to carry out individualized treatments by cabins

It is important to have a Physiotherapy service in optimal conditions within the San José

IPS clinic and thus be able to provide preventive care from the moment of suffering an

injury or when a disability is detected and therapeutic care can be provided, since the

benefits are great for the health and economic well-being of the patients in this region

who come to the clinic.

This proposal is given with the sole objective of benefiting both the clinic and the
