C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES
ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO
PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002-A ) or (Ref. TASK
24-41-00-861-002-A-01 ) or (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002-A-02 ).
(2) Make sure that the Green, the Yellow and the Blue hydraulic systems are depressurized (Ref. TASK
29-10-00-864-001-A ) (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-002-A ) (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-003-A ).
(3) Get access to the flight controls (F/CTL) page on the Multipurpose Control Display Unit (MCDU) (Ref.
TASK 31-32-00-860-006-A).
4. Procedure
SUBTASK 27-50-00-869-058-A

A. Reset the Wing Tip Brake with SFCC 1 and 2.

NOTE: Use any available MCDU to do the reset of the wing tip brake.
ACTION RESULT
• SFCC 2 is isolated.
1.Open the C/B 8CV.
2.On the MCDU: On the MCDU:
• push the line key < SFCC 1. • the MCDU shows the SFCC 1 menu.
• the MCDU shows the next page of the SFCC
3.Push the NEXT PAGE button.

• the MCDU shows the SFCC 1 FLAP TEST/
4.Push the line key TEST/RESET FLP >.
RESET menu.
• the MCDU shows the SFCC 1 FLAP WTB-
5.Push the line key WTB-RESET >.
RESET procedure.
• the MCDU shows: SFCC 1 FLAP WTB-
6.Push the line key < START WTB RESET.
RESET PERFORMED.
• SFCC 2 is energized.
7.Close C/B 8CV.
• SFCC 1 is isolated.
8.Open C/B 6CV.
9.On the MCDU: On the MCDU:
• push the line key < SFCC 2. • the MCDU shows the SFCC 2 menu.
• the MCDU shows the next page of the SFCC
10.Push the NEXT PAGE button.

11.Push the line key TEST/RESET FLP >.

15.Push the line key < RETURN frequently until the

CFDS MENU page is shown.
16.Pressurize the Green Hydraulic System
29-10-00-863-001-A or 29-23-00-863-001-
A . Pressurize the Yellow Hydraulic System
29-10-00-863-002-A or 29-24-00-863-001-
A . Pressurize the Blue Hydraulic System
29-10-00-863-003-A or 29-10-00-863-003-A-01 .
17.Move the slat and flap control lever in the flap
extension and retraction direction.
18.Check all the flap system torque limiters and
reset as necessary 27-50-00-866-010-A.

5. Close-up

A. Operational Test
(1) Do the operational test of the flap system (Ref. TASK 27-54-00-710-001-A).

B. De-energize the Electrical Circuits

(1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002-A ) or (Ref. TASK
24-41-00-862-002-A-01 ) or (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002-A-02 ).

C. Removal of Equipment
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Remove the safety barriers.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other
items.
