TELEFUNQUE REGULATION

The Telefunque tournament is played with five people, with three decks of cards (including jokers). Each
player will receive 12 tokens to make purchases.

There are two types of combination that can be merged:

1. A set of three or more cards of the same value. A set of three identical cards is a cone Known as a
trio, a set of four matching cards is a quartet, and a set of 5 matching cards is a quintet.
2. A string of three or more consecutive cards of the same suit, known as a straight. On a straight, an
ace can be high (...- QKA) or low (A-2-3-. ..) but cannot be used in the middle of a staircase (KA-2 is not
valid).

A joker may be used as a substitute for any card, but no more than one joker may be used in any game.

For Telefunque, we will have seven types of games:

X Trio: a set of 3 identical cards. It must be pure or clean (no wildcard/joker). The cards must be of three
different suits. No purchase of cards is allowed.
X Two Trios: Two trios. One of the games can be completed using identical cards or a joker.
x Quartet: Game of 4 cards. It must be pure. The cards must be of four different suits.
x Two Quartets: Two groups of four cards. One of the games can be completed by
identical cards or a joker.
x Quintet: Game of 5 cards. It can be completed using identical cards or a wild card.
x Two Quintets: Two sets of 5 cards. Both games can be completed using cards
identical, but only one of the games can have a wild card.
X Chueca: Set of three cards (trio) and a straight of 4 cards (of the same suit). The player must go out on
that turn. The three of a kind can have a repeated suit and one of the sets can have a wild card/joker.
X Straight: A series of 7 cards of the same suit. Said game may have a wild card/joker.

Game.

To start the game, the dealer or judge (in charge of dealing 11 cards to the players and control) places
the decks face down. The players draw a card, whoever has the highest card chooses the game.

The person who chooses the game also tells the dealer a number of cards to deal. If it turns out that the
cards that the dealer took turn out to be exact, that is, he managed to give 11 to each player and the first
card from the trash can without having any missing or extra cards, the player is deducted 50 points.

Once the cards have been dealt, the dealer places a card face up. This will be the first card of the game
and with which the first player (located to the right of the dealer) has the option to buy or continue with his
cards.

For the rest of the hand, each player in turn begins selecting the action card. A player who wishes to take
the top card from the discard pile has to "buy" this card, which costs one token.

If the participant already has the game, in his turn he takes the card that corresponds to him and puts
down his game, which must be the assigned one and discard a card in the discard pile.

Once the game is downloaded you have the following options:

x You can extend your own game (include cards) or that of other players.
x You can also place additional sets of three or more matching cards or straights of three
or more consecutive cards of the same suit.
X You can take a wild card from a game already lowered by yourself or by another player if two cards of
your hand of the same range are added in place as the rest of the game already lowered.
X The player cannot take a wild card/joker from the ladder

Discarding.
To end the turn, the participant must discard a card from their hand face up to the top of the discard pile.

The purchase of cards.

Any player who has not yet lowered their game may purchase the discarded card at the end of a player's
turn. If two or more players wish to buy the same discarded card, the player to the right of the discard,
who is in turn next to it, has the highest priority, then the next player, and so on to the left around the
table.

Purchasing a card costs one token. The purchased card is taken and two cards are drawn from the top of
the deck, adding the two cards to the hand. If the purchase is made at the beginning of your turn, you
must draw 3 cards from the deck.

Tip: You only have 12 tokens during the entire match. Once you have done 12 com pras, he no longer
has the option to buy more during the rest of the game. It is advisable to save tokens for more difficult
games.
Note: For the “trio”, purchase of cards is not allowed.

Game over.
The game continues until one of the players runs out of cards. At that moment, the game stops and the
points begin to be counted.

Sometimes it can happen that the deck runs out before the game ends. In this case, the discard pile is
turned face down and shuffled to form a new population, and the game continues.

Punctuation.
An accumulated score of penalty points is maintained for each player. At the end of each game, the value
of each participant's cards is noted.

The value of the cards is as follows:

x 2 to 9: Worth 5 points.
x 10-JQK: Worth 10 points.
x Ace: Worth 15 points.
x Joker/Wildcard: 50 points

The player who went out, who was left without cards, has a score of zero.
In the event that a player lowers his game and combines with other games, leaving no cards in his hand,
it is considered an “earthquake.” This occurs as long as no one has gotten off before. Once the
earthquake is made, the game ends. The points are then counted. In this case, the added amount is
doubled.

The winner is the one who has the lowest score at the end of the 8 games.
