Notice
Rules for HoFN
1. [*]The eldest women who is not less than 18 (eighteen) years of age, in every eligible household or
the eldest male member of the household where there is no woman of 18 (eighteen) years of age or
does not have a female member, shall be the head of household for the purpose of issue of ration
cards. [Section-19(1) and (2) of the Food Security Act].
2. Under clause 6 of sub clause 4 of section 3 of the public targeted distribution system (Control) order,
2015 this ration card cannot be used as a document of proof of identity in any of the Government
scheme or any other purpose.
3. The data displayed on Ration Card is as per the records available with Department. For any
change/updation, please contact the concerned officials of the Department.
