INTRODUCTION

The School is currently considered the only space and Institution in charge of
education, however, the family and the media also play an important role in this
function of educating generations. Therefore, in this Panorama, the school alone
cannot satisfy the training needs of citizens, which is why an efficient Educational
System must have: The Collaboration of Fathers and Mothers as Primary Agents in
the Education process . When analyzing the characteristics of Effective Schools, it
was found that close and complementary work between families and schools
promotes better quality in the teaching-learning processes.

In Honduras, according to the new educational reforms that have been

implemented, the school must involve parents even more in the decisions that lead
to the improvement of the Institution. Families and teachers must analyze that the
success of educational institutions will depend largely on the communication ties
established between both agents and this becomes a necessity for any Center that
aims to be efficient and of quality.

Given this reality, it is necessary to formulate a Project Proposal for Schools for
Parents at the “Eulogio Galeano Trejo” Technical Institute; as part of the efforts to
improve the participation of fathers and mothers in the pedagogical, academic,
training and recreational activities of the institution, hoping to engage families in the
training of their children and also in the development and growth of the family.

JUSTIFICATION

Building an Effective Family-School Alliance, is a project aimed at parents with children in the
“El Porvenir” Kindergarten, it aims to make education in this Institution comprehensive,
uniting parents, teachers, students and the community. in general, as main actors in the
formation of society. It is certain that the behavior and academic performance of the students
would improve significantly if there were qualified parents who understand the important role
they play, which would in turn allow the implementation of actions aimed at the growth of the
institution.

It is well known that there is a widespread problem regarding the lack of authority in our
homes, domestic violence, drug addiction, prostitution, alcoholism, abortion, among many
more, and that as parents we do not know how to handle this situation.

With this project, Parents of the Institution will be trained in how to be quality parents who are
interested and active in the education of their children. This project will also achieve the
sustainability of this School for Parents by guaranteeing that in the future it will be completely
managed by parents, with the vision that in the short term the parents will coordinate and
organize the activity, becoming called the School for Parents, which According to the
institution, it is a policy reflected in its Center Educational Project.

Counting on the support of the Teaching Council, Directors and Municipal Education
Authorities who are committed to the educational development of the Municipality, they
guarantee the support, follow-up, monitoring and evaluation of this quality proposal.
