Temazcal or temazcalli is a term from Nahuatl that means “steam house.” The temazcal has been a therapeutic
instrument for centuries, it is one of the richest expressions of traditional Mexican medicine, recognized
throughout the world for its ability to treat diseases.
What is temazcal bath?
It is a complete immersion of the body where the person can remain sitting or lying in a certain space where
steam is produced with hot stones, and sometimes within this bath the body can be washed with water from
