KB SMOKEHOUSE, a Texas Barbeque concept restaurant located at PT 447 (Ground


Floor), Jalan Jambatan No 12L Kampung Sireh, Lorong Bawah Lembah, 15050 Kota
Bharu, Kelantan. Established in 2022 under Tuah Raya Ventures, KB SMOKEHOUSE
stands out with its innovative approach to barbeque dining, blending the rich, smoky
flavors of Texas with the vibrant tastes and spices of Malaysia. Their commitment is not
only in delivering exceptional food but also in creating a dining experience that celebrates
both tradition and innovation.

At KB SMOKEHOUSE, every dish tells a story of meticulous preparation and passion for
culinary excellence. From their tender, slow-smoked meats infused with local spices to
their signature sauces crafted to perfection, each bite resonates with the essence of both
Texan barbeque heritage and Malaysian culinary artistry. They take pride in offering a
menu that caters to diverse palates, ensuring that every customer, regardless of
background or preference, finds something to savor and enjoy.

Beyond their dedication to exceptional food, KB SMOKEHOUSE is committed to


inclusivity and hospitality. Their shop doors are open to everyone, fostering a welcoming
environment where patrons can gather, indulge, and create lasting memories. When they
started their journey, their vision is to expand KB SMOKEHOUSE’s presence across
Malaysia, they also wanted to share the unique combination of flavors and hospitality with
more communities, and becoming a destination where culinary traditions converge in
harmony.

2.0 ANALYSIS

2.1 Opinions about the business and suggestions for improvement:

KB SMOKEHOUSE has made a commendable effort to establish a unique niche in the


Kelantan food scene by combining the traditional flavors of Texas barbecue with beloved
Malaysian tastes and culture. This fusion approach sets it apart from other eateries and
appeals to a broad range of customers. The inclusive focus on serving all people,
regardless of their status, generation, and culture, is a strength. This inclusive approach
not only broadens the customer base but also fosters a sense of community and
belonging. Thus, KB SMOKEHOUSE can make some improvements to further enhance
its success. KB SMOKEHOUSE could implement several strategic improvements, such
as increasing social media presence with engaging content, customer testimonials, and
targeted ads, as well as collaborating with local influencers to boost visibility and attract
a larger audience. Additionally, utilizing Instagram and Facebook ads can attract a larger
audience. A robust customer feedback system, including online surveys and social media
engagement, will help refine the menu and service.

2.2 Business owner's hope:

The business owner's aspirations are to establish KB SMOKEHOUSE as a thriving and


inclusive presence in the food industry. By blending Texas barbecue with Malaysian
flavors, they aim to appeal to a diverse customer base, transcending cultural boundaries.
The positive initial feedback reflects their optimism and confidence in this unique concept,
while their ongoing commitment to enhancing service and food quality underscores their
ambition for sustained growth and widespread recognition throughout Malaysia.
Ultimately, the business owner hopes to achieve both acceptance and expansion while
maintaining exceptional standards in service and culinary offerings.

3.0 METHODS

● Using Adobe Premiere Pro on a laptop with an AMD Ryzen 5 7530U processor (6
cores, 2.00 GHz) and 16 GB of RAM is suitable for video editing, including HD and
moderately complex projects.

● Start by organizing your footage and assets in the project panel, then use the
timeline to arrange clips, add transitions, effects, and audio.

● Leverage Premiere Pro's built-in tools like Lumetri Color for color grading and
Essential Graphics for titles.

● Enhance performance by reducing the playback resolution during editing, utilizing


proxies for high-resolution footage, and minimizing background applications to free
up resources.

● This setup should handle most editing tasks efficiently, though rendering and
exporting might take longer compared to higher-end systems.

4.0 OBJECTIVE OF THE VIDEO

The objective of the promotional video for Smokehouse Restaurant, located in Kota
Bharu, is to:

1. Showcase Signature Dishes

Highlight the unique fusion of Western and Malay dishes, emphasizing the
restaurant's specialty and culinary creativity.

2. Promote Discounts and Offers

Inform potential customers about current discounts and special offers to attract
them to dine at the restaurant.

3. Provide a Virtual Tour

Give viewers a brief tour of the restaurant, showcasing its ambiance, decor, and
facilities to enhance their dining experience.

4. Increase Brand Awareness

Enhance the restaurant's visibility and brand presence in the Kota Bharu area and
beyond, attracting a broader customer base.

5. Encourage Visits and Reservations

Drive traffic to the restaurant by enticing viewers with appetizing visuals and
appealing deals, encouraging them to visit and make reservations.

The promotional video for Smokehouse Restaurant in Kota Bharu successfully meets its
objectives by effectively showcasing the restaurant's unique fusion of Western and Malay
