VIRTUAL CALL FOR TEACHER EVALUATIONS FOR THE

IMMERSION ENGLISH PROGRAM

CALL PERIOD
FROM DECEMBER 15 TO DECEMBER 23, 2022

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Be Dominican with permanent residence in the Dominican Republic

• Being older
• Advanced knowledge of the English language.
• Pass the admission exams.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

• Photocopy of the identity and electoral card

• Resume (updated CV)
• Endorsements of academic studies (high school certificate or photocopy of
bachelor's or master's degree).
• English language study endorsements. (If you do not have any qualification to
study the English language, you can obtain a free certificate of knowledge online
by entering the following link: https://www.efset.org/ef-set-50/ ) (This link does not
have any relationship with the MESCYT English Immersion Program).
• Certification of No Criminal Record.

PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION:

• Fill out the application form in the link shared below, and upload CV with its
attachments in the place indicated on the form (Copy of identity card,
endorsements of academic studies, endorsements of English language study and
certification of no background). penalties).

• Take and pass the necessary tests to be eligible: English Language Grammar
and Vocabulary Exam ; English Writing Exam; and submit a video that will be
evaluated as an Oral Production Exam in English. Approving grade.

• Procedure for the Oral Production Exam: (You must create a YouTube
account , and make and upload a video of a maximum of 5 minutes in length,
spoken COMPLETELY IN ENGLISH in which you must introduce yourself and
express your origin of knowledge of the language. , your learning process, why
you want to be a teacher in the English program, what you hope to achieve in the
program and what your vision of English education is in the future). The video
must be made public.
