Fifth Grade Second Unit Planning
Fifth Grade Second Unit Planning
Learning situation
At the Sixto Luna Luna school in the community of La Guama, most children at the primary level present difficulties in geometry in the
specific case of identifying the line, ray, segment, angles, and using the protractor. In fifth grade we will form teams to look for solutions based
on their knowledge, so we will investigate everything related to geometry, complementary and supplementary angles, we will investigate their
use in our daily lives, at the end of the investigation we will hold plenary sessions on the data obtained.

Learning situation
At the Sixto Luna Luna school in the community of La Guama, children at the primary level have difficulties in geometry to identify triangles
and their different classifications.
In fifth grade we will form different groups based on previous knowledge to investigate everything related to triangles and thus seek solutions
to these questions. Then we will share the data found in the classroom, we will build the different triangles found.

Learning situation
At the Sixto Luna Luna school in the community of La Guama, the majority of sixth grade students have problems identifying geometric
figures and their angles. To solve this problem, we will investigate in a team of 5 and carry out an in-depth investigation so that we all learn to
identify the different regular, irregular, inscribed and circumscribed polygons in addition to their internal and external angles. Then we will
proceed to share the knowledge acquired in the classroom.

Learning situation
At the Sixto Luna Luna school in the community of La Guama, second grade students of the first cycle of secondary school are concerned
about knowing how to measure the exact size of objects such as boats, barrels, balls. We also want to investigate what is related to round
bodies.
On the other hand, they are curious to investigate the Cartesian plane in their daily lives, how to identify each of its components. To solve
these concerns, we will form teams of 5 students who will carry out research in different sources and present the results obtained in the
classroom.
