HOW TO DEACTIVATE UEFI TO INSTALL ANY OPERATING SYSTEM

1. DISABLE UEFI TO UNINSTALL WINDOWS 8 AND INSTALL WINDOWS7 ON HP


a) We turn on the computer by pressing the escape key

b) Then it will start the system menu

c) Then press f10 to redirect to the BIOS/selecting configuration/booting options


and press the enter key.

d) Selecting secure boot will deactivate it as seen in the image

e) Next, you will scroll down to UEFI boot order: select which one will run the
installation via USB, CD; pressing f10 to save and reboot the system
f) Press the escape key again / system menu / f10 BIOS / configuration / boot
option / legacy support (select enabled)

g) Then select yes to save and press f10 to save and reboot system

h) Press the escape key again /system menu/f9

i) And you can select USB to install any operating system


2. DISABLE UEFI ON DELL AND UNINSTALL OPERATING SYSTEM
a) Turn on the computer by pressing the f2 key

b) Then select secure boot enabled

c) Then select disabled and clicking yes

d) Then select advanced boot option and select by clicking enable legacy option roms;
The word APPLY will appear below, click on it

e) Then select boot sequence / select legacy / select apply /


Then exit to exit
f) Then turn on the computer by pressing the f12 key to install operating system

3. DISABLE UEFI ON LENOVO AND INSTALL OPERATING SYSTEM

a) Turn on the computer by pressing the f1 key / select startup / disable CSM

b) Then select PRIMARY BOOT SEQUENCE BY CLICKING


c) Then select the first thing that will be used for the installation of the boot system if it
is USB, CD, etc. / press f10 and confirm by selecting and clicking on YES and the
system will reboot

d) Then turn on the computer by pressing f12 and selecting USB. To install OS

4. DISABLE UEFI ON ASUS


a) Turn on the computer by pressing the f12 or ESC key.

b) Go to security/secure boot menu/secure boot control

c) Then select DISABLED by clicking ENTER


d) Then go boot / LAUNCH CSM / select ENABLED by clicking ENTER key / then
press F10 key then click YES by pressing ENTER key to save and exit

e) Then press ESC key and select USB, CD to install operating system

5. DISABLE UEFI ON ACER

a) Turn on the computer by pressing the f2 key / scroll to boot / select boot mode /
select LEGACY / CLICK OK / click OK.
b) Then PRESS the F10 key/click YES and press the enter key and the system will
shut down.

c) Then turn on the computer again / press the F2 key / go to boot / press F6 to scroll
up

d) Next, press the F10 key/CLICK on YES by pressing the ENTER key.

6. DISABLE UEFI ON VAIO


a) Turn on the computer by pressing the assist key

b) Then select the F2 key by clicking.

c) Then select BOOT/ BOOT MODE/ select LEGACY

d) Then select EXTERNAL DEVICE BOOT/select ENABLED by CLICK with the


ENTER key, and press the F4 key and select YES with the ENTER key
e) Next, you will turn on the machine by loading the disk or USB to install the operating
system.

7. DISABLE UEFI ON SAMSUNG

a) Turn on the computer by pressing the F1 or F2 key

b) Then go to security/set supervisor paswoord [ENTER] / Assigning a password and


clicking the enter key.
c) Then go to boot/OS MODE SELECTION/select CSM OS with the ENTER key

d) Then go to SECURITY/ SECURE BOOT CONFIGURATION/ SELECT: CHANGE


TO CUSTOMIZED SIGNATURES {ENTER} CLICK on ENTER / press F10 to
reboot the system and insert a USB to install the operating system

8. TOSHIBA

a) Turn on the computer by pressing the f2 key and enter setup/IR


SECURITY/SECURE BOOT:

b) go to ADVANCED/E GO SYSTEM CONFIGURATION

c) go to BOOT MODE AND SELECT: CSM BOOT


d) and press F10 by clicking ENTER

e) PRESS F2 go to boot and select USB, CD

f) Then press the F10 key and select YES by clicking the ENTER key and install the
operating system

9. DISABLE UEFI ON COMPAQ

a) Turn on the computer by pressing the f2 key

b) Then select secure boot enabled


c) Then select disabled and clicking yes
d) Then select advanced boot option and select by clicking enable legacy option roms;
The word APPLY will appear below, click on it
e) Then select boot sequence / select legacy / select apply / Then exit to exit
f) Then turn on the computer by pressing the f12 key to install operating system

10. M: YES
Turn on the computer by pressing the f2 key
Then select secure boot enabled
Then select disabled and clicking yes
Then select advanced boot option and select by clicking enable legacy option
roms; The word APPLY will appear below, click on it
Then select boot sequence / select legacy / select apply / Then exit to exit
Then turn on the computer by pressing the f12 key to install operating system
