Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Yojana
(PM-KISAN)

The PM-KISAN scheme was launched by


Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 24th
February 2019 at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive


Rs 6000 per year in their bank account from
the Government of India.

The farmers are paid Rs 2000 each in three


instalments.

The Union Ministry of Agriculture and


Farmer Welfare, Government of India,
administers the PM-KISAN yojana in India.

All instalments falling due on or after 1st


December 2019 are being paid only based
on the Aadhaar authenticated bank data of
beneficiaries.
