CATCH-UP FRIDAYS
NARRATIVE REPORT (MARCH 15, 2024)
On March 15, 2024, teachers implemented the dynamic Catch-Up Friday program of DepEd aimed
at fostering students' comprehensive development. The day began with engaging reading sessions, where
students explored various literary works, followed by discussions to deepen their understanding. Next,
students delved into values education, participating in thought-provoking conversations about integrity,
empathy, and responsibility. Through role-playing activities, they contemplated how to apply these values in
real-life situations, fostering a culture of respect and compassion among peers.
Transitioning to health education, students eagerly participated in workshops. They gained practical
knowledge about nutrition, exercise, and mental well-being, empowering them to make informed choices for
a healthy lifestyle. The day concluded with peace education initiatives, promoting harmony and
understanding through cultural exchanges and conflict resolution workshops. Overall, the Catch-Up Friday
provided a well-rounded learning experience, emphasizing not only academic growth but also moral values,
health awareness, and peacebuilding skills essential for students' holistic development.
