We have screened your blood on our Auto Analyzer (Vitros 3600) for Infectious Disease Marker and Sysmex for CBC Report and
the result of the same is:

HIV Negative RBC 4.94 cu mm Report RBC indices and nestrof test do not
indicate towards Thalassemia Trait,
Hepatitis B Negative HB 14.2 gm/dl sample is not processed for HbA2

Hepatitis C Negative MCV 96.20 fl

Inference No Evidence of Thalassemia Trait
Syphilis Negative MCH 28.70 pg
(In 10-15% of cases RBC indices are normal are
Malaria Negative (Immunochromatagraphic) RDW-S 53.60 fl there is still possibility of thalassemia trait)

2. The test is being done as a part of mass screening of thalassemia carrier/minor/trait programme free of charge.It is not valid for any medico-legal purpose
3. Silent thalassemia carrier and mild beta-thalassemia mutation can give normal RBC indices and HbA2 However this condition is rare.
4. If you are female then get a HbA2 test done at the time of early pregnancy even if RBC indices and nestrof do not indicate thalassemia trait
5. Test result should be considered in conjuction with family history. Persons having Haemoglobinopathies are advised to bring their family members for
counseling and testing
*High HbA2 is suggestive of Beta thalassemia trait
