Everybody needs to know the importance of

knowing how to stay safe online. We need to
know how to protect ourselves from harmful

C people on social media and the internet but
still socialize with others.

First of
all everybody must be able to identify suspicious e-mails or behaviour. Do not
click on any links as they could potentially download malware, spyware, or a
harmful soft ware on to your electronic device.

1. On social media apps it is

important you know how to report
or block someone that is being
harmful or aggressive towards
you. Let’s take Facebook for
example. If you want to report
someone follow these steps. Go to
the profile you want to report.
T 2. Click the three dots icon on the
bottom right of cover photo.
3. Select 'Give feedback or report
this profile'
4. Follow the on-screen instructions
and then press ‘Send’.
5. Just like that your reported them.
In the unfortunate event that you do get hacked or
malware is on your computer, immediately go to an electronic repair shop and wipe your
laptops’ memory clean along with the malware.

Always, always make sure to be safe online. If anything does happen to your device that your
worried about, always talk about it with friends, family; anyone you trust. Just remember that
staying safe is particularly important.
