 TYPE 0 (general truth: fakta umum)
Pola Kalimat:
If simple present tense, simple present tense
Rumus Kalimat Simple Present Tense
1. Verb-s/es
(+) S + VERB-S/ES + O + Ket
(-) S + DO/DOES + NOT + VERB + O + KET
(?) DO/DOES + S + VERB + O + KET
2. ToBe: IS, AM, ARE
Example:
 If you burn this paper, it turns into ashes.
 If you get bitten by a cobra, you die.
 If you turn off this light, the room is dark.
 TYPE 1 (suggestions: saran, wish: harapan, plan: rencana, imperative: perintah)
Pola Kalimat:
o If simple present tense, simple present future tense
o If simple present tense, Verb-1 + O + Ket (kalimat perintah)
Rumus kalimat Simple Present Future Tense:
Will + Verb-1
Example:
 If Thomas gets 100 for his Mathematics test, he will give some money to the
beggars.
 If Mr. Bagyo has much money, he will buy a new car.
 If you meet Diana, tell her to call me

b. Rumus Kalimat Simple Past Future Tense
Would + Verb-1
Example:
 If Mr. Burhan had the money, he would buy the new phone now.
 If I remembered to bring the book, the teacher would not get angry at me.
 TYPE 3 (bertangan dengan fakta masa lalu [penyesalan])
Pola Kalimat:
If Simple Past Perfect Tense, Simple Past Future Perfect Tense
a. Rumus Kalimat Simple Past Perfect Tense:
HAD + VERB-3
b. Rumus Kalimat Simple Past Future Perfect Tense:
WOULD + HAVE + VERB-3
Example:
 If I had listened to you, I would not have had the accident.
