 Terms & Conditions

1. This certificate is the property of the National Construction Authority and is not
transferable.

2. This certificate is valid for the contract period or a period of 24 months whichever comes
first from the date of issuance. Any extensions will require renewal of the compliance
certificate.

3. The certificate holder shall adhere to the provisions of the National Construction
Authority Act No. 41 of 2011, its amendments under The Business Laws (Amendment) Act,
2020 of 20th March 2020, the National Construction Authority Regulations 2014, the Code of
Conduct for the Construction Industry (2nd Edition) and any other enabling legislation in the
construction industry in undertaking construction works on this registered project. Failure to
abide by the provisions of the laws will result in the revocation and/or termination of this
Certificate in accordance with the provisions of the National Construction Authority Act.

4. The certificate holder shall ensure that this certificate, documentations on project
registration and the contractor’s practicing license are available for spot inspection at the
project site by NCA investigation officers in line with Section 23(3) of the National
Construction Authority Act 2011.

5. The certificate holder shall erect a project site board on the project location as per NCA
standard and display the Compliance Certificate registration number herein, all relevant
approvals and the professionals engaged in the project.

6. The National Construction Authority should be updated regularly of the project progress
and be notified of any changes of particulars of the registered project in line with the
provisions of the National Construction Authority Regulations 2014.

7. The issuance of this certificate does not indemnify the certificate holder and parties to the
project from responsibility or claims that may arise as a result of the construction activities.
