SK RESOLUTION NO. 2023 – 003

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE THREE-YEAR COMPREHENSIVE
BARANGAY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PLAN (2024-2026) OF SANGGUNIANG
KABATAAN OF BARANGAY CATABAN, CITY OF LAOAG, ILOCOS NORTE

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 8 of the Republic Act No. 10742, otherwise known as the
“Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015” and its implementing rules and regulations, the SK, in
consultation and with concurrence of the Katipunan ng Kabataan, shall formulate a three (3) year
rolling plan, which shall be known as Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan(CBYDP);

WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan (CBYDP) shall be aligned with
the Philippine Youth Development Plan (PYDP) and Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP) of the
city.

WHEREAS, the CBYDP shall give priority to programs, projects and activities that will promote and
ensure the equitable access to quality education, environmental protection, climate change adaptation,
disaster risk reduction and resiliency, youth employment and livelihood, health, including health
services and adolescent sexual and reproductive health, anti-drug abuse, gender sensitivity, sports
development, and capability building which emphasizes leadership training;

WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan (CBYDP) shall serve as the legal
basis for the preparation of Annual Barangay Youth Investment Plan (ABYIP).

NOW THEREFORE, on motion of SK Kagawad Neo John De la Cruz and duly seconded by SK
Kagawad Roxanne Adayan be it RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by Sangguniang Kabataan of
Barangay Bagumbayan in session duly assembled, to approve Resolution 01, series of 2023 entitled “A
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COMPREHENSIVE BARANGAY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
PLAN (CBYDP) OF SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF BARANGAY CATABAN, CITY OF
LAOAG AS INCORPORATED IN THE 2024 ANNUAL BUDGET”.

RESOLVED FURTHER to furnish copies to the Barangay Council of Barangay Cataban, COA,
City Budget Office, DILG Laoag Field Office, LYDO and other offices concerned for information.

APPROVED 16th day of December 2023 at Barangay Cataban, City of Laoag, Philippines.
