Count objects with one-to-one correspondence up to quantities of 10

A. Preparatory Activity

b.1. Motivation:
Nursery Rhyme: Once I caught a Fish Alive

b.2 Presentation and Discussion


Teacher supervised: Color and Fishing Game

The Teacher will present the color picked game.


She will call a pupil and let her/him identify what color was seen.
After the color was identified, he will step on the colored circle until he will reach to the basin with fishes.
They will match the number of objects found in the fish to the numbers posted on the board.

How many objects was on it?


Can you post it under the sea with its right number?

Other pupils who will be called will do the same manner.

C. Small Group Activity


Before we have our group activity, I want you to remind the following:
1. Follow instruction
2. Cooperate with your group
3. Clap your hands if you finish the activity
4. The most disciplined group will receive 5 stars.
Group 1. Number Clay

The pupils will form a number using the clay and put correct number of paper clips opposite the
number

Group 2. Paper Plate Matching Puzzle

The Group will match the other half of the plate to the right number of objects.

Group 3. Bugs in the plant

The group will match the dots of the bugs to the right number written on the leaf of the plants.

The teacher will check the activity of each group
