MOTIVATION LETTER

Respected JBTA Recruiters,

I am Takim. I am very much interested in English Teacher Internship so that I can gain hands-
on knowledge because it will ultimately complement my theoretical knowledge and help me
hone my skills. I believe that raw knowledge is useless, until and unless it is sharpened. And,
this internship program will help me the same.
I have always interested in learning English more from a young age. I believe that English has
always been my passion. I cannot explain why, but when it comes to English, my brain always
sparks the fire. However, at first, I never wanted to be a teacher, because I know that being a
teacher needs a lot of preparations, responsibilities, and strong passions to deliver the
knowledge successfully. Being a part to mold the students’ adequate future was scaring me a
lot. However, my anxiety turns upside-down when I joined Kampus Mengajar batch 2. I got to
teach English and Maths to grade 6 elementary students. My first day teaching experience was
also unique since I made one of the students cry, but this experience opens up my eye on how
to approach to students.
I really excited to learn and experience more to be a good teacher, especially in teaching
English. If I can be a good and caring teacher, I will not afraid to be a crucial part of someone’s
life. I commit to learn and learn more through any chances that will come.
