Styles of Leadership

The attainment of goals can be rooted in the efficiency


of leadership. Management styles may differ depending on
what the leader believes to be the most effective approach.
These determine on how they deal with their subordinates.
There is a type of leadership that we refer to as autocratic, in
which the leader takes all decisions without taking other
people’s opinions into account. However, other leadership
approaches are comparable since they take into
consideration the views and development of the workforce.

Development of Leadership
Leadership development gives leaders the opportunity
to increase the team’s productivity. Leadership programs
can increase employee engagement because they
concentrate on establishing a clear path for members who
want to take on leadership roles. A competent leader must
demonstrate some qualities that may be seen by the
members. He/she must exhibit intelligence, openness,
integrity, and self-confidence to achieve the desired goals.
Good relationship with the members is important too.
