Group In-class Assignment Session 15: Human Resource Information

Business Problem

Bubu's multi-million dollar company is about to go bankrupt and he wants to know why his
employees are leaving.

Client

Bubu the Boss

Objective

The company wants to understand what factors contributed most to employee turnover and to create
a model that can predict if a certain employee will leave the company or not. The goal is to create or
improve different retention strategies on targeted employees. Overall, the implementation of this
model will allow management to create better decision-making actions. So, Your job will be to
provide support and insights based on your exploratory analysis using data visualization. You will
require to present the key insights from the data through dashboard or storytelling and recommend
accordingly what kind of model development will capture reasons of employee turnover and what is
the precise business problem you are identifying.

Deliverable:

1) Two-three clean information visualization from your exploratory data visualization


and analysis. For example histogram, barchart, area chart, boxplot, and scatterplot
etc.
2) Based on your findings highlight your key insights (3-5 insights)
3) Present your narratives in storytelling to communicate your recommendation based
on key insights and argumentation (3-5 storypoints)
4) Innovate any specific on performing exploratory data visualization analysis and
communicating your findings to your stakeholders
